My name is Mike, and I'm from Des Moines, IA. I'm contacting you because I have recently purchased a mostly unmolested Byron F-16 kit, and my intent is to build it as an EDF utilizing a JP120 EDF.
I happened across your thread "Byron F-16 Turbine Conversion" while hunting for tips, tricks, etc... that will allow this (My actual first jet, and a 35 year dream bird) to be successful.
What I wish to ask you about is the retracts that you used. I'd like to ask what brand they are, and if you happen to remember the specifics so that I can order a set?
I truly wish you'd carried that thread out to it's completion as it is one of the best build threads I've seen on the Byron F-16 with tons of useful information.
I'm curious, how did that plane pan out with the turbine in it?
I'd also be interested in the details of the gear doors. I also plan to close up the hole and build doors., I'd love to see how you rigged them, and what hardware you used.
