Vincent I am very sorry to hear about your beautiful SSW. Man that was such a beautiful; build. Mine is coming along ok but slow. There is so much I have to check and recheck. The wing is done except making the hook ups on the ailerons. A lot of sanding is to be do on the whole plane. I have yet to decide the colors and scheme of it. I'm thinking of Monocote cream for the main base but the res is blank. It will come when the time is up. I will be using the landing gear that comes with the kit and just wired it up and will try to get the soldering done tomorrow. I'm not like you because I have a ton of honey dues to do and at me 82Years I'm not to fast anymore. Again thanks for your comments and sorry for being so late with this. I forgot to check back in on this thread.

Thanks for the message. Good luck with your build! The Spacewalker was a fun build with just the right amount of head scratching to figure things out if you know what I mean... Sadly, I lost my Spacewalker last year. I took her up and all of a sudden she dead sticked on me, then I lost the ability to have any control. All I could do was watch her crash nose first in a corn field. It was total loss...sadened, I took her home in pieces and did an autopsy as I needed to know what happened. A mouse had gotten into the fuselage and chewed through just the right wires to cause her untimely demise. I will never store any of my planes in the garage again!!!

Again, good luck with your build...

    Hello Vincent!
I want to thank you for leaving your kit build on the Sig Space walker 11. I am in the process of trying to build one and your threads have been a great help. I used to fly u control back in the 50's. I got into rc by the fact that my kid gave a J3 kit 30 or so years ago to match my real on e. It sat on a bench in the basement untill 3 or 4 years ago when I decided to build it. It was a lot of fun building it. A guy in the rc club flew it for me a couple of times and that got me started building. After building 6 more and not flying the them I decided to quit building. My wife said I needed to do something in our nasty cold winters so I looked for one to build. The Sig space walker 11 really appealed to me. I searched the threads and found yours which I've spent a few hours reading. Again thank you for leaving it up.
