Hi Jim - sorry, I missed seeing the little icon in the corner telling me I had messages! For email, you can use: [email protected].

"IP Instructor" means "Introductory Pilot". It's a program run by the Academy of Model Aeronautics here in the States. Most clubs here require members to also have membership in the AMA, if for no other reason, insurance purposes. This program allows a club to have designated instructors, who can sign a new person up to train with them for up to 60 days, without also having to pay the fees to the AMA.

I saw your posts in some of the Taranis/OpenTX threads over on RCGroups. Sorry to hear about the crashes! Ask away - I'd be glad to give advice, if I can!

    Hi again Ted,

Are you receiving (and responding to) private messages?

    Hi Ted,

I am wondering what "IP Instructor" means? Can you tell me please?
I am guessing it means something to do with RC flying instructions, but that might be well off the mark.

Subject to the above, I would like to discuss with you a little problem I have around flying powered aircraft.
I destroyed my third large internal combustion engine powered scale model last weekend. 1/4 scale. Maiden flight too!

    Talk later,
