    Ross,
I'm not related to Keith as far as I know he lives near Dallas TX and Im in Indiana 800 miles or so between us.
If you go with the OS maybe the FP would be OK but it is way too much power for the plane look at .40 or smaller. Getting reliable mid range power from the engines will daunting to say the least.
I am using two .40 in the full size plane.

    Hi Keith,

    Sorry if you've received twice.

I finished building a Mariner from your plans, scaled down to 80* span, about 10 years ago, but haven't flown it yet.

I have two RCV 60 SP's to mount, not yet run in, and I have serious doubts if the structure could handle the huge torque they produce.

I think I'll now put a couple of Magnum/ASP 61 four strokes in it, and went looking for what you powered your original with, but couldn't find the info. Was it two 46 two strokes?

Why I ask is because I'm having doubts that the 61 FS will lift it. The all up weight will only be 15.5 lbs, so they should do OK, but I'm wondering if I made a mistake all those years ago, misread what you used, and bought the RCV's in error.

I'd appreciate it if you could confirm what weight your original aircraft was, and what engines you used to power it.

    Thanks for your help.

    All the Best

    Ross Martin
