- Biography
- I flew Cox .010, .020. & .049 plastic models as a kid back in the 60s and early 70s and always wanted to get into RC but did not believe I could afford it. I learned to fly as a teenager at now-defunct Park Hall Airport in Southern Maryland. I am an Embry-Riddle alumnus and have graduated from their A&P school in 1975, their worldwide online program with a BS in Professional Aeronautics in 2012 and M.S. in Unmanned Systems in 2020. I spent 21 years as a full-time A&P mechanic while flying part-time, building time towards my ATP before finally starting to fly for a living. I retired earlier this year after 24 years of flying Falcon 900s, Falcon 2000s, and Gulfstream G450s, G550s, and G650s all over the world. I started flying R/C in 2010 and have been hooked ever since. My RC interests include R/C electrics, pattern, and 3D. I enjoy ARF assembly, kit building, and rebuilding. I do not enjoy crashing, lol.
