live an old jj1400, bought in 2005/6 I think. It's flown, but not that much maybe 5-6 hours but then had a mild crash of my boomerang, turbine was all fine but not flown it or ran it for a good 5-6 years. Searched online and found your brilliant post and I'm temped to strip it to take a look. Already had the case off but think it might be good idea to strip and rebuild before I rerun it. How did you hold the compressor while undoing the magnetic pickup nut?

i also need to source an old style hand held unit, mine has given up the ghost !
