Hi Casey, welcome back to the continent! Good to hear from you and hope life is treating you well. There is a pretty good group of scale flyers there in the Vegas area so you are in good company. If you get a chance please consider accompanying the "Vegas contingent" to Phoenix for either the Winter Warbirds event in January or to Brian O'Meara's Wings over Arizona scale event in March. Or maybe come to both! These are well attended events that are well worth a visit.
