Mike, I am helping a friend assemble a Mini T-1 and have a question around CG. Where did you measure the CG from on yours? From the junction of the fues and filet or from where the wing meets the filet? Using ether can make a difference where the 200 mm CG is. Seems to be some confusion as to where to measure from. Thanks for your help on this.

Hi Brandon, I do have a tams thrust vector and the pro-link landing gear for the rookie. Do you have gear yet? I just pulled them on Saturday! The CARF thrust vector is garbage.

Hi Johnny, I don't have the spit, I did the mustang, similar though. I don't know hitec servos, so hard to answer your question on that one! Kolm provides a mounting kit for the mustang, not sure if they do for the spit. I have two small kids, so I get to the shop maybe 1-2 hours a week if I'm lucky, so progress is slow. Kimhey on that thread built the spit… he can prob help you was well. Sorry I'm not more help!

Dr. Scoles my name is Johnny.I am new to the forum I have also sent Tom LX trim a message.
I am very excited as I am about to purchase the CARF spitfire and the kolm il135. I would like to find someone who has built this model and could give me advice on a list of the accessories needed to really make it fly well. -such as cooling issues any templates for mounting the engine, how to strengthen the model in critical areas.
Should I go with air retracts or electric a steering tilt wheel ,retractable tail wheel, or not.
Which servos to use as I was considering the hitec 645mg??
How long has it taking you or do you anticipate it taking you to finish yours-I would love to see pictures of it.
I want to thank you and let you know I appreciate your time and any help you might could give me:-)
.I live in Houston Texas my cell phone number is 727-480-5336 johnny.
    Thanks Dr
