Can you send me a link so I can see the gear that you might use? The gear on the Ryan ST-A is unique and I doubt that you can replicate its appearance using anything that Robart has. I'm sure you could get it to work, but if scale is what you're after then I would use what's supplied in the kit... (You are talking about the ST-A right?) The landing gear is quite a bit of work to assemble and to get to fit. With some additional bracing it should prove to be very durable. See how I did mine on the thread. Good luck Phil...
