NO, I did not. It didn't seem to be an issue I was aware of. Reading the tip again reminded me of long ago when the tip was posted. But I really never even looked into it. My bikes are fine....
That's good to know. With that, I think I'll try it first, as is. Thanks again

Hi guys, Chris:

Just one question so far. May I use lipo batteries with the standard motor and ESC?
Thanks in advance.
Yes no problem use a 2S 7.4V pack and as soon as you detect it slowing down pull it off and change/charge the pack.

Glad you put that, I just shoved a Lipo on and forgot whether I should have checked about it first!

Oh, didn't forget sboti74, couldn't find a video showing me what I was trying to explain, then a certain Edi from Austria posted this today. It's a 1/5 bike but still applies, showing how much the forks of a bike move even when leaned over in a corner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOJWB_kILk0

The GPV uses 0.5 Module metric pitch gears. We offer pinion gears for 2mm and 2.5mm motor shafts. You can also convert the gears over to 64 or 48 pitch if you can work out the spur gear mounting situation.

We need metal sprocket and spur gear since the nylon plastic ones break easily. Can you guys at Venom please make some metal spur/sprocket's so we can be done with the plastic junk? Thanks.

No but a standard 1/10 scale 2.4ghz RX will fit fine at least my RC4WD Big off roader did.

If I order the Novak Mongoose 13.5t BL motor with esc will there be anything else I need to get other than better tires? I managed to really get a feel for this bike quite quickly coming from an all-around r.c. background and am ready to add some real power. As far as battery, I don't mind shorter run times so which lipo would deliver the most power to the Novak setup? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.</div></span>

Default Venom GPV-1

Found two great bikes on FB marketplace. Should be here tomorrow.
I'll post more once I have them. I sold the three I had back in 09. Wanted one ever since then.

Here are a few of some pics back when I picked up these bikes. Had to take those old stickers off for a nice clean look.
