I already have my turbine in the plane...but the news of a Xicoy 180 has me in doubt.
I'm a power addict. I know the UF will fly just fine on a 140...but the idea of slipping in a 180 at just about the same weight is real tempting.

We have flown the UF for years with a JetCat P-180Rx, normal sense says it’s fine if you fly it smoothly. Also since the popular JetCat P-130Rx is 155N you can easily start there…

The Flash series is amazing, we had one with a P-60 a few years back, it would only take off our 360’ grass strip when there was a 7+mph wind and the first circuit was slow, but once it got on the ‘step’ it was surprisingly OK. Short flight times because he was full power most of the flight but it got him to where he could afford a bigger turbine.
Anything 120-150N is the perfect combo for most pilots, so it does not runaway with them.

The retracts/Brakes are on an 8pin MPX type connector. Because of my phobia of single point failures I use four std servo lead connectors for Ail/Flap

Hey Evo guys, can someone please measure the new intake length from the front pin mounting hole for the wing to where the intake ends. I’m thinking of converting a Gen 2 UF fuse tank area to an Evo fuse tank area and I’ll have to cut the Gen 2 intakes back to fit the Evo tank in there. I’m building a new Gen 2 UF now and gonna use a Evo fuse tank and also take out the battery pockets. Thank you!

Looks mint Dave W. Question- Whats stopping the front of your fuel tank from advancing FWD? No ply bracing with 2x screws like the earlier version of the UF/Flash for tank installations?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Question
i'm about to instal the servo's in my wing
if i hook up the aileron to my servo and if i power the servo and move it it tends to twist my servo arm.
Does anybody else have this problem?
or should i use an alu servo arm with a ball link
And what kind of brand of ballinks does carf use?
regards peter
