Ya I am done and it looks sweeeeettttt! One prob tho I accidently canceled my charge on my battery before it was done. Is it ok to use it or should I put it back on charge. I think it might over charge tho.

Mannnn this thing is so friggin fun. I just finished running a pack thru her in the dark with my LED's It rained earlier too so the road was slick. I definatly got this drifting thing nailed. Its like the car drifts itself

13 turns pretty low m8 its gonna haul on that alone!!! i would stick with the standard setup 19/61 and see what heat the esc/motor gets to if you go to high a ratio its gonna burn up something, driftings fine on that ratio too.
towerhobbies or ebay for the metal motor mount or maybe local lhs?not sure what u mean by alum gear? pinion?spur?

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Hello, quick question kinda off topic but i'm modding my tt-01 to turn it into a rally car and i increased the ride height as far as it can go (added better turnbuckles and cut the bottom of the piece that holds the foam bumper so that the A-arms can extend fully) and i was wondering what you guys suggest my damper height be? the stock ones are 50mm and i was thinking of going to 55mm. would this be too much? too little? could i go even longer?
any recommendation or help is much appreciated. thanks!!!
pic i found online which gave me the inspiration to do the rally mod and also shows the cut i made...however, i'm not too sure what my damper height should be

My Feedback: (2)
RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
if you want to lower your car with the stock shocks ive used fuel tubing cut to a certain length the car will be bouncy. If your looking for some replacements tamiyas hard coated are best or you can use the 3 racing like I have, they are naturally that low.if your trying to raise it for rally I have tried hotshot (I think thats the name Ill look later)shocks which were too long for a slammed look but fine for rally

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
do you know the height of the hot shot dampers?
the stock tt-01 ones are 50mm so i was thinking of going 55mm or even more. i'd just like to get some feedback before i buy them off ebay
