I didn't have to do any modification but it is mounted weirdly. It sits up on it's side and diagonally across the battery tray. I'll post some pics when I get home.

190mm bodies fit the best. Take your pick:

we run a bomber class at our local track (indy slots) and the regular winner drives a tt-10 with tamiya speedo! i drive an old tc3 and i was wondering as this guy won't say is the tt-01 that much lighter than a tc3?

You can get Tamiya ones cheap on eBay. And yeah I'd have to agree, they look a lot better thant the HPI ones. A lot of the HPI ones don't look like the car they are meant to lol.

tamiya make the best ones, but it's overkill on the enty level TT-01.
just get some cheapy oil filled ones, they did quite well for me.

i had to buy the turnigy version of your lipo because hk aus warehouse doesnt have zippy batts in stock and i found out that i just have to cut out a bit of the bath tub to make way for side exit wiring and it fits perfectly without the battery hold down thingy. i fixed it with cable ties but i wonder how the people with the new carbon touring cars like the trf417 and tc6 keep thier batts still without the battery hold down thingy's.

Check on the HPI website, but I think the 70 Cuda body is 200mm in the front and 210mm in the back. The kind of tires and wheels you use will determine if there is a big or slight gap between the body and the tires.
