Quick noob question, how good is this truggy? Tossing up between this, a 8T or a Matrix TR Pro thingy.
Do many parts need upgrading or prone to wearing out (faster than normal)?
Seems to be popular in the states but I've never seen one at my club (which is good as I like to be different), A few Hong Nor buggies but no truggies to compare to the 50% 8T truggy field..

RE: Official Jammin X1CRT Thread
I've got a least one question about tire choice. What does everybody run, for racing, not bashing, on the crt? Ive seen some videos of people running the MT tires during a race and that seems a bit crazy. Seems to me that a shorter side wall, less flex tire would do much better. Also it seems that a less aggresive tread would be better in a race situation. Im sure there are different choice for loose or packed clay. Ive also seen some post race photos of tires on these truggies that look like gumballs or gummies as we used to call them before the candy. Slicks might best describe them. Before I go load the box with tires I thought I should ask.
Maybe,

Im using the Losi 8T wheels and tires. They seem to work well on a loose surface. I'll see how well they work on a clay track this Sunday.

I like the proline MTR series tires that come preglued with molded foams. Really like how the tires have rubber ribs molded inside the tire to reduce ballooning.

No, they are not two different truggies. HongNor and Jammin are the same. HongNor
manufactures both. Jammin-Ofna helped design the product and put there label on
it here in the U.S. and a couple other countries. Ofna products are made by two
manufactures,HongNor and HoBao. So Jammin is just a retaged HongNor.
