MLDELARUELLE :
There may be some confusion, there is no "mount", I just replace the nylon bolt supplied with the kit with a different type. I prefered steel, but there are nylon cap head bolts also.
I tried to insert pictures. We'll see if they are here.

Today i make first flights on my B25. I had many flights tested my twintrainer with this engine, but had left engine out in the first flight b25. This model fly on single engine..... PERFECT!!!!!!! But after that my breath and my head was crazzy..

Thanks for the viedo.
Nice to see that the B25J sounds the same in Russia as here in the US. Looks like Top Flight got the engines set up right for one engine, but so far I haven't had to test that. Nice job of flying with one engine and two engines. Thanks again. Ethan

Hi,
I'm mounting the nose, but I don't understand how to install the receiver's batteries.
I link the battery to the wood board with velcro, but I did not get how to glue this board on the nose's floor.
Any pics would be greatly appreciated !
And I have a big orange triangle for the floor of the nose details. Why is it not green ?
I read the beginning of this thread, and it seems to be paint in green by other guys.
Thanks
ML

The orange triangle you speak of is supposed to be the nose-gunner's seat. It is supposed to be brown leather, but the color is too orange and not enough brown.

Tim,
I went out to my flying field Friday afternoon and found it deserted . The B-25 and I had some Quality time together and I got in six, fifteen minute flights without any distractions . Heaven, is a warm spring day, a field to yourself and a plane like this to fly. This plane is so well thought out helping to improve on it is tough. The one thing I noticed though is the amount of excess fuel left after a fifteen minute flight. I don’t like to put the remaining fuel back in my jug at the end of the day, because of the exhaust residue, so I like to try to burn as much as I can on the last flight but that may take as much as ½ hour at the rate I fly. The fuel tanks seem to be on the Large side and could easily be 4oz. smaller for the engines recommended. This may seem a silly suggestion but it will save on fuel and weight.
Many Happy Landings

There is a little story behind the fuel tank capacity. Originally, the fuel tanks were a little smaller, but somebody else higher up in the company ordered us to go to larger fuel tanks. Kinda funny. On the other hand, I would rather pump out excess fuel rather than have a dead-stick situation. But no, your suggestion is not silly. Smaller fuel tanks were a little easier to install and also made it a little easier to hook up the throttle, but orders are orders.

Toreo,
thank you for the video. Congratulations! Your B-25 looks nice and I hope you enjoy many successful flights. Be careful you don't crash into the boy on the runway!!! [X(]

But i newer used any gyro in new model. On next flight session i will use gyro on rudder and ail.
IMHO, right preset of rudders is help no less than gyro, in case of single out. Left rudder set 2-3 degree to left, right rudder 2-3 degree to right.

Toreo,
What engines are you using? Look a bit like Enyas?? Curious since it coped on one so well. Thanks for the video.
Tim,
You'll have to wait a bit longer for the "finished" shots - I build ARF's a bit quicker than the Chinese built the Great Wall....![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Wow - that's VERY impressive for one FL70 on a 3-blade prop! Good flying too
Thanks for the info' - the FL's look like a good value powerplant for this plane.

This is how it flys but toreo seems to have flown it in much relaxed manner!!!!! Amazing and good contlol. This is the loveliest plane I own, and those videos prove it is the best every time. I cannot wait to get up to date with my video downloading skills and it seems that the resolution is too high and make extra large documents. I will get help and post another video to add to this list.

While I've got the 'ol camera in the workshop, I'll add a few others - the gimbal was just detailed a bit and repainted, bomb bay is sealed awaiting final paint, bomb door inners ready to be attached, plus a few of the aluminium tape added here and there. The hatch in the bomb bay floor (roof?!) is the gyro mount - it's stuck to the other side. Note no Nelson hinges as there's some problem with supply, so used up a few large Dubro pinned hinges.
Next step will be to add panel lines and steel-wool the lot, then prep and airbrush all the aluminium and assorted exhaust stains, panels etc. Once done, will weather and seal. ('Scuse me borrowing some of your techniques fytrjok!)
Oh, and the missing outer fuel caps!.....![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Oh, thanks to one of our other contributors for the rear cockpit and turret images - sorry I don't have your name in front of me.

Lyle who posted elsewhere in this thread (I think) did them - his email is [email protected]
Ask him how his pilots are coming along too - he's an amazing sculptor.

interesting interior a pic! i put all that in there and your idea is really nice. with the glass on you cant tell anyway. school is done may 30. I just recieved my rivet tape to finish but im gonna fly her first! My wife has to go out and help me lift the plane after the outer panels are on. I fly alone and there is no way I can handle this on my own. shes never seen me fly anything except helis. i can get the fuse and center section out of the van and add the wings. But flipping it over requires two people. ill fill the air tanks hook up all the lipos and secure everything when the plane is upside down. All I need to do is get it turned over and fly.

RCV91...
I'm not tim but if you permit, you will have to spin a 13 x 8 3 blade MAS with this engine. will fit in there, a buddy of mine did it.

thanks Normand
i know that the KMP new B-25 is recommended to work with RCV .91 and i have 4 of them . they have more power and less speed so they swing a larger prop's , is a 13 x 8 will not be to close to the ground ?
cheers - cobi

I see Normand knows a person who powered his B-25 with the RCV. This is good news, but I would inquire more with Normand or his friend to get a little more information (such as how does the plane fly with these engines or were there any difficult modifications required?).
I'm sorry I cannot give you a better answer. I guess you'll just have to do a little research and rely on your own common sense.

this is the RCV 91 Specification :
RCV91-CD
Specification Imperial Metric
Manufacture Die Cast
Engine Type 4-stroke - Glow ignition
Displacement 0.91 cu inch 15 cc
Max Power (approx.) 1.5 bhp 1.12 kw
Weight (exc. silencer) 25.2 oz 715 g
Length 4.72 inch 120 mm
Height - centre line axis 3.23 inch 82 mm
Cowling Radius R85
Propeller shaft diameter 5/16" UNF
Practical RPM range @ prop 2,400 - 11,000 rpm
Example prop sizes (2-blade) 13x6, 14x6, 14x7
Recommended Fuel 10% Nitro / 15% Oil including max 6% Castor
now as the Manufacture indicate in his user manual with 13 X 6 - 3 blade it will run in 8600 - 9000 RPM top and with 13X8 3 blade it will run around 8000 RPM , i think it will fit .
any comment will be blessed
