RE: Hanger 9 F-22 Craptor
It is using the flaperon mixing in the up position(reflex mixing) and the flaps down at the same time. I have a ultrastick 40 with a os la 65 on it. Using the quad flaps with crowmixing it will land with a 20 foot role. It allows the plane to come in with very high alpha without tip stalling. I was hoping someone else had already tried it so I could get their input and back out if it didn,t work.

Very interesting idea. I had originally considered using flaperons in conjunction with the flaps, but an old salt at the field had talked me out of it citing abrupt tip stall. I am accustomed to the high alpha on approach, but it never occured to me to add in the crow to increase drag AND reduce wingtip angle of attack. I love the idea, and now that I have my 91FX engines troubles straightened out, I plan to try it soon. It may be a little while, but I'll report back.

IMO it does not need anything more than flaps. In fact, I almost tip stalled with full flaps on landing, so I reduced flaps to 50% and it settles down nice.

I feel the need to experiment. It should not tip stall with full flaps mixed to reflexed ailerons. My Idea is that it will allow more scale like high alpha landings with lots of throttle. And what is IMO
