yes. you will need them in the long run and it help reduce slop and friction in the drivetrain so its good to get them early and put them in while your building the kit. also the plastic shaft vibrates at high speed and that not good.
drifting on abs or pvc piping will work on any motor and esc combo. theres so little traction and even the stock stuff will do it just fine since your on a budget.

same recommendation i gave to paulyd. get bearings and the alu prop shaft. IF you want to drift, keep it 4wd, definitely not fwd. Don't know why you would want to do that... If you have pvc/abs piping tires, the stock stuff will just fine until you want to upgrade the motor/esc. I've never heard of an asmann motor...
also proof read your post. It was difficult to read...

I buy mine form walawala store on ebay. cheap, great quality and fast shipping for an Asian retailer. google walawala, should take you straight to his ebaystore and search tt-01 there... its about 13 bucks shipped

yes, there are great radios for the price. practically glitch free and no need for crystals.

do you have to use Spectrum servos with Spectrum radios? Are they even any good?

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
They should fit. The tamiya bodies say they fit both of the cars, so i expect that they would. The tt-01 has 2 different body post options. 1 of them should work

will the bodies that fit on the tt01 fit on the tb 02 without modifications

I think the plastic parts are just fine.
1-cheaper
2-lighter
3-tamiya plastic is pretty strong stuff
4-most of them aren't made by tamiya so i can't use them in the races, if you just bash then this isn't important...
