haha not really, more of just dust, not enough weight in car and frictional heat to cause them to smoke. but my tires do explode!
runnign a mamba and a 380C6L. this motors usually recommended for 1/10 stadium trucks and buggys due to the longer magnet producing more torque. But my RC10T2 is retired so I put the system into the tt-01. its geared up but theres still enough torque to get all 4 tires spinning

ORIGINAL: pimpedarse

do your tires really smoke? what kind of engine are you running mindwreck??

i posted my cars/ bodies on the previous page(#130). I mostly just drive and bash around parking lots and on sidewalks and sliding around obstacles. if your jsut drifting on abs or pvc tubing you don't really need a faster motor. They just dont have enough friction.

yep...mates...i inoculate him...first with an LB...after that, drift (he always dreams about, playing drift games on PC )...so now, we are 2 "stupid adults" in others opinions, who play with child toys LOL...lol...
and from there...it was easy, his workmate....also get an TT-01D...my other friend: got an e-savage...and an TT-01D...other friend of mine got an e-maxx...will make a RC club in a month...LOL...LOL...lol...

PS: his 5 years old son drive really nice...both LB and start drifting with TT-01D...
mine daughter, 3 years old, it's on the LB snap'n'run kits, the 4x4 motorized kits from tamiya...even if she "drive" mine r/c outside from time to time...steering is allowed, accelerate and reverse on me...she sitting in my arms...LOL...lol...

Man I wish tower would hurry up and send me my tt-01 [:@]

In the mean time I should pick up some PVC. What size do I need 2 inch? And o ya can you drift on rubber tires wrapped in electrical tape? Or would PVC be better?

I cruise around parking lots, practice drifting. I'm starting to get it down better. I recently installed a Venom racing 17t motor, and it's pretty fun. I have some drift tires and some grippy tires too. If I knew anyone else besides my college counselor, whom builds RC cars, I'd love to race and stuff, but until then, it's just something to do! I'm always buying upgrades, hop ups, new tires, rims, whatever else I can find to make them better. :}
