RE: New Carden Yak.
Thank you Mr. Bradley Yes, he did a great job. It was the 32% correct ? Would your builder consider making 3 - pair of the spats for the 32% ? How many flights have you got in on yours? Would you do anything different? How is it for 3-D, IMAC, etc.
thanks, Ward

Good talking with you earlier today John. Your plane is a work of art! I talked to Tom this afternoon and he's going to get back to me after talking to Greg. Thanks again for your help.
Also, what's the width of your spats at the widest point? The Kavan wheels/tires are a little wider than most and was curious as to the measurement.

RE: New Carden Yak.
Well after a long delay, I'm finally back at building my Yak. Over the course of the year, I have moved homes, moved jobs, and got myself a new wife...laughs (With work, wife, and flying this summer, I had to put everything aside for awhile)
Any way, I finally got a workshop set up in the new house, and I'm back working on the Yak. Hopefully I can finish it off fairly soon.
Here are a few pics of the work I've done so far. I've now installed the fin and top turtle deck.

RE: New Carden Yak.
It's been a long time since I've posted, and I've finally finished the Yak. I just flew it over the weekend, and I must say that I am very happy with the way it fly's. It is extremely axial, and smooth. It still needs a little tweaking here and there, but overall it is a great plane. Here are some pics from the field.

ORIGINAL: Mokken
The YAK 54 has wheel pants, the 55 does not only half pant. I don't even use the half pant on my CA 2.6 YAK..
ORIGINAL: sweetpea01
Last I checked Yak's don't have full wheel pants.
but the bird looks good

RE: New Carden Yak.
Very nice !!!
I would like to see some pictures of it.
I just finished a 32% for a friend. He is going to post some pics once he gets the graphics on.
The Yaks are a bit of challange to build but look really nice once they are done.
Steve
Hey Mark, How are things in northern PA? Down here is south east Pa, I'm still stung by the 3 loses in a row of my Flyers.
I still bleed orange and black and hope they can somehow win 4 in a row. They did it against
the Habs last series....but they sure aren't playing the Habs.
Did you have anything on the building board over the winter?
