Is it worth it to spend the extra money and go with the TT-01?

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Well I want to get another TT-01 anyways and then I can have drift battles with friends and let her beat on one. Maybe get some more friends into the hobby. I just got this one tho so that might be over winter or something Lol

nice!!!
i'm triying the same thing here, but my friends find it to expensive!
so there all buying some x-mods and all that kind of crap!!!
i don't blame them, but instead of putting money for the real thing they keep buying those little toys!!!

Lol Tons of my friends used to race the xmods I never really got into it tho. They are actually kinda fun but you gotta have something hobby grade as well.

The TT-R has ball bearings, aluminum driveshaft and joints, oil filled shocks, fully adjustable suspension, and I think that's it for that.

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Hey guys, check out the new paint job on my TT-01R. It's the first car body I've painted. I've done some very simple single color bodies on my truggy so this was a learning experience. Up close there were some blemishes - but I learned a bunch and those won't happen on my next one. I hope I posted it right.
