More than 1000 Flash aircraft are flying with the stock setup…
The aileron situation does require some work slotting the opening and modifying the servo mount to line up the Flap servo because the servos it was designed for are no longer available

Looked at it again
and problem resolved the aileron horn on the right was out by 2mm.
the left left airleron horn was ok so made some ply packers of 2mm.
hardley any twisting now.

Don’t agree. Any ball link on the servo adds a twist. Adds drag and can require a larger slot. European metric Clevis rock…ball link over Sullivan clevis, yes!

I don’t use spring steel clevis on a metal arm, getting a 1.55mm dia hole is near impossible to drill. Only on high quality rigid nylon arms.

Flying at 5500ft elev (not taking into account density alt) is a lot different than flying in the UK, but your absolutely right and I do know it can land a lot slower, challenge is which you can't really see is once most jets get below the mountains in the background for a few secs you lose perspective on speed and seeing the dam thing lol, the other challenge is since your over 1 Mile up, less drag and for the Flash even at idle power wants to keep on going, that's why I try keep the nose sightly up so I don't gain anymore air speed. I want to fly lower on the downwind to base, but dam mountains can play tricks on you depending on the time of day. It's not like flying at your local RC field, very different here in Colorado.
I just have to keep on practicing on slowing the Flash down, interesting enough the Bandit doesn't nearly have the same issues, but just shows you how more efficient the Flash wing is.
Also for full flap, I do have crow built in, I might try adding more crow, but that question is how much more can I add in?

Understand.
Before you add more CROW what is the stall like? You are dumping more lift if you raise the ailerons further.
what flap angle do you have?

Elevator servos
I recently ordered the UF and wanted to know if the elevator servo still has to be 19mm? I am hearing conflicting information. Also do the slots need to be cut out for servo arms?

I finally ordered an UF EVO this past week.. Luckily I got one thats due to be here in 4-6 weeks so no super long wait like my last 3 planes. This is the second CARF I’ve bought but the first jet from them. I REALLY like the Art Scholl scheme so I’m happy there’s one available so soon, otherwise I’d be ordering a custom Cayman scheme.
Debating on a SW140 or SW170 for power.
Also trying to decide on servos.
Will be running Electron Retracts.
