Cg is right on the tube. Receiver batteries, 5400 lithuims, are just foward of the tube and the 2400 lithium ignition pack is more foward, closer to the cowl. Thats off the top off my head, I could always look and measure them for you if you need me to. Mine balanced just right for me, stock mufflers by the way. I probably could move the CG back a hair but I'm not going to as of now. Harriers, hovers, rolling moves and so on are just fine. If anything moving it back some might help flatten it out a little more in flat spins but just does'nt seem worth doing at this point. By the way, I practice the basic IMAC moves, but don't fly competition, and it works out well for that too where it is.

Scott,
You are to kind! I finished the install this weekend (I'll post a picture or two later) and I ended up with my batterries forward of the Wing tube, should be OK for initial flights.
I have the New DA-100 (6 oz. lighter) on it, I was worried about having to move items to far forward. Should be able to maiden this weekend.
Ward

I don't think tbob has had his out yet. I know he told me he has been busy at work. I want to buy the new DA for my Carden Extra I have sitting around waiting to be stuffed. My Yak is for 3D so I think I'll set the Extra up for IMAC which means cans so the new DA weight savings should be a good thing to have. You'll really enjoy the Yak, I love mine.

Use all you want, let me know how it goes. They look even better in person. Same with the covering stripes. Pictures always make the lines look uneven with my camera and uploading to the pc.

RE: New Carden Yak.
Sorry guys I'm still here just have been on some other sites.
The plane flies great with only about 1 1/2 of up trim.
With a DA 100 on MTWs it sounds great.
BBW did a great job and I can’t wait to get some more time on it, but here in the midwest it’s been a little wet this year.
Great job Walt we have another winner.
