Frontier is my all time favorite, I can't have it on the shelf on a regular basis.. my father was a alcoholic - weekend is close though I like whitewidow/snowywhite too, but I'm not allowed to smoke that stuff where I live so obviously I never do.

Thats like pearls on a row up there, some really great songs that I don't hear too often.
My parents never said anything about the music I was listening to when I was even younger than I am today... I listened to punk music and rock, mostly stuff I had heard my older brother play. My parents listened to stuff like Louis Armstrong and such and I might enjoy listening to that now, but obviously when you're young and full of energy that needs to come out some how thats not it.
Here is one of my favorites from those days (still is), to me it was never about a riot against my parents generation or anything like that - I didn't even know what they where singing about... I just love the raw and energetic music, an intense expression of life or "being alive" I suppose.

I read just yesterday that Chris Cornell had passed away, back in May if I recall. I didn't expect that to happen but I guess one never does. I was playing in a rock band back in the 90's with some friends, nothing great obviously but we lived the dream in the basement and had fun with it. He was one of my greatest inspirations, I was pretty sure he would reach old age... but then again I thought that about Prince as well. Well then, Salute!

I don't think it's up to us to have any judgments on those things, I don't believe that the world or history could have been any different than it is. Life is a miracle, you just can't get around that no matter what... some things are not ours to know.
