I left a link on my posting of pics for my build for the track that I take my car to check it out. I am working on a honda civic body right now but I think I will order another one. I did not notice all the glue that was on the body so its messing up the paint job a little bit but not so much that I would not use the body still. Is anyone in here a ROAR member if so are there certain types of bodies you can and cannot use? I might invest in the long clips you have Raguvian it seems alot easier than pulling out four clips everytime.

There's also less stuff to lose that way too. The only thing I messed up on was that in cutting them short with a hacksaw I scraped a lot of the blue paint off.[:@]

As promised I am done with the Honda body thought i would post some pics. I do have one request from the TT01 Gurus on this site. I am running novice class at the track that I am at. We will only be running pro stock, super stock motors ie trinity pro or monster and tamiya super stock. Do I really need to upgrade my esc? I am running the stock teu-101bk esc. Been told I should upgrade and I will see the full potential of the motors I am running. Any opinions?

DO you have adjustable steering in your transmitter? I ran into the same problem with mine when i was running stock turnbuckles and had to adjust the steering through the transmitter. Now that i have adjustable turnbuckles I will adjust them to get the steering more precise. Ok sorry I see you have adjustables. Figure out whether its varing left or right and adjust the servo turnbuckle accordingly that would be my suggestion I am still new to this myself but I am sure someone who has more experience with the steering will come along and give there opinion. Hope what i said helps

You may have to just keep working it. I notice the turnbuckles attached to each wheel seems to be adjusted all the way in so I would work on the turnbuckle attached to the steering servo.

By looking at your pictures i can see that the left front wheel and possibly the right front are wearing unevenly. That would be because you have too much negative camber in the front. This uneven wear pattern could be the cause of your car not going straight. I would suggest you invest in some adjustable upper arms so you can correct it. Cheap fix and makes your car more adjustable.

Good idea instantlunch42 I did not even think of that since most people from what i see don't get them. I have them on my TT01.

Yes, but you'll need wheel spacers for the car.

Hey, I'm just starting into the TT-01 scene and am ripping my new baby open to put a new 19T motor in it and figured I should grease the gearbox while I'm in there. I see everywhere mention of silicone grease, but is there any reason I can't use petroleum based grease for high speed applications, like a marine grease? Any advice is appreciated. TT-01 looks to be a real popular platform, I'm surprised there are no dedicated sites for it like there are for some of the more popular mini and micro electric aircraft.

Cool I guess I'm in the clear then. it'll just stink a bit in the room whenever I work on the car. Well.. it'll stink _more_.
Damn this car is fun to drive, I shouldn't have dropped the hobby 20 years ago...

10 mm spacers I think...
Or it could be 5 mm... I'm not sure.
