boatman12, I don't know about anyone else but I remember that build LOL, If you want you can take a look at my new build (the 2nd version) http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8633694/tm.htm Mart, I think I'm gonna build the Zip-kit Z-box, then possibley move onto the thrunderboat. I guess I should probably start buying engines! Nice boat by the way Mart! I like the idea for the fail safe at full left, I'm gonna have to give it a go. -Ed

If you want, you don't have to but you could use both of those threads to help you along the way(if you need it) since the one is the first version of the 48"mono from doug, and the other is the second version of the 48" mono also from doug, which sounds like you got that one from Mart. Anyways, have fun building it and post progress pics along the way! (obviously in a new thread[sm=bananahead.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif])

I managed to get the rocket wet again today, ive rebuilt the carb after the problems i was having.Still had a few issues with her not revving out fully so had to retune the carb some.Managed to get her runngng pretty well but just when things were looking good i gave her too much into the wind and woops over she went, complete summersault lol, hatch came off went one way boat the other.Unfortunateley my mate missed the flip in the video, you can just hear it as it happens out of shot which is a pitty .No real damage done apart from the deck skin has a minor split in it,not bad though as the gps registered 98.9 kph which is 61.46 mph.Conditions werent the best so i think with better water and some more fine tuning i can get her to 65 mph no probs.Unfortunateley when she flipped the fuel bag came disconected and filled with water so i had to wait till we got home to start her up to dry her out, shes now sat with the jug full of oil and ive sprayed everything down with wd40.Ill try and post a vid later if i can,its only a short one unfortunateley..

Hi Henry a week or so ago i tested her with the ridepads just to see what difference they made and she was faster but i hade a problem with one of the pads coming loose as id only used super glue to stick them on temporary.I didnt have a cameraman that day so no vid unfortunateley.Im sure when i reinstall the ridepads i will see more than 65 .

Hi Mart. I couldn't believe the difference the Ride Pads made to my Rockett, Still yet to put the GPS in her and see how fast she will do but you didn't need the GPS to see the difference in speed after I put the ride pads on, Can't wait to see your Rockett top speed m8

Henry.
