Nah, the Aussies are probably still recovering from binge drinking some good American beer. It gets this way sometimes, all it needs to wake up is a rant of some sort.
Saito 125 is the BEST Saito MADE!
There, that should wake them up.

Anyone hve an suggestions on the setup to run a secondhand older Saito .80 with unknown time and great compression? I don't know if I should just follow the factory break in instructions or what? This was the .80 that came inb a blue and white box.

I would think you can follow the standard break in for any Saito.
I think we're all recovering from the binge. Wife and I have been under the weather for the last 3 days. As neither of us drink must have been something we ate.
Pulled the next project from the box yesterday, an 80" CL-415. Looking to bolt on a pair of 65's. Will depend on final weight.

If the engine was never run, then I would follow break in, but if it has had fuel through it, I would just run it a little richer than normal the first gallon, then fine tune it as you fly. I did that with the .72 on my Something Extra and it is one smooth running FA. I have only 1 Saito I bought new, the rest were all used, only one was marginally broken in that I know of, and thats the 100 GK.

Nice call dave does this mean you made it back in the mitsubishi? they can't be that bad then can you tell us about the trip in under five hundred words? just kidding.I hate ford dual wheel f250's they are as wide as an mtt transperth bus over here but not as fast in the city because most of the bus drivers here seem to be closet formula one race car watchers.
Here's my new years wish.I want someone here to blend some glow fuel that smells like diesel,my dog saito loves it.

Hey there Pete, yep, the Misterbishi made the 400 mile trip using one half quart of oil going and another half quart on the return. My brother in western Pa. just received a new Ford 350 Crew Cab with 8' bed, Diesel of course and single rear wheel.
I ordered an FG 11 to be here the first week of Feb. I gotta try one.

O.F.
I run fuel that smells like cherries and my friend runs fuel that smells like bubblegum and I did find some scented additive that smells like wacky weed but haven't had enough guts to run that.

Well, I dare you to run that fuel at the flyin. At least then you'll have an excuse for banging the gong.
I find that Wildcat smells like cologne or aftershave. Those other scents can be had from car shops, they sell scents for car guys(see I knew RC cars are for wimps!)

Pete- After the Indy demonstration of pansy behavior we call them Formula None over here. Well, the Michelin guys at least.
Don't you drive taxis at night? Something dangerous like that? Seems I recall a story about some guy pulling a knife or gun on you.
