Twenty-ish years ago, the wife and I went to see Disturbed open up for STP (many critics thought that paring was quite... weird). That 2000 performance from Scott Weiland and company still ranks up there as one of the best shows I've seen from STP. Weiland must have put his bandmates and himself 'first' that year, and laid off the sauce. Fast forward to more recent times, a month before covid hit, I came across video of Disturbed doing a Simon & Garfunkel song on the Conan O'Brian show. After showing the video to my wife; in awe, and goosebumps... the family was on a road trip. First concert for our twelve-year-old, and she loved it.

Aw hell yeah. Dave Draiman knocked that cover out of the park! Friggin love that track. I was already a fan of the OG cut from the 1960s but Disturbed just rocked it.
Should check out some of Godsmack's softer stuff too. I really dig Under Your Scars.
