I had a green Yamaha CS3C 200cc twin. High pipes and skid plate. Was this the same engine? Great little bike, but too heavy to really throw around and ride off-road. My CT175 single yamaha was a lot more fun off road especially after I put on a tuned pipe and broke off all the street hardware.

Richard i have to google because american motorcycle imports are designated differently eg you got gs1100 suzuki road bikes while we got the gsx 1100..apparently americans thought that 'gsx' sounded a bit vulgar

The last motorcycle I ever rode was a RD-350 out in Colorado. I almost bought it but still had too many bad memories of the one I owned earlier around 1972. I think they only came in orange and black. It was quick but the right cylinder kept fouling plugs on a daily basis. I started hating that bike. Then, it burned up something like a coil. I just remember having to buy a new one. Then, it burned a hole in a piston. Had to push it up a steep hill to get home. Finally, the main bearings went and that was the end of me and the bike. It was the worst motorcycle I've ever owned. Had some good times on it though, when it was running. Had a girlfriend who discovered halter tops and hot pants and she loved riding. She knew how to hang on in the turns and when stomping on the brakes. I think I got pulled over by the cops a lot just so they could look her over but they always put the ticket pad away when she smiled at them like I taught her, so I got out of some expensive tickets with her on the back. I loved those banana seats back then.

Dave you done snuck a photo of your harley in keep that up and i'll cancel my monthly subscription magazine 'american tractors' and thats gonna hurt! next months main feature is by a registered farm assist with 'top ten' medications to keep you awake on slow machinery..
rd350's were quick in there day for their size when most motorcyclists compared performance to a trumpy 650 either way.The later water cooled rz 250/350 and 500's were faster and bullet proof.An aircooled t350 suzuki twin of the same period would match a sixties bonny.At least pushing an rd350 would be easier

Boy do I remember that night. Push a few inches and crank down on the front brake handle to hold it. Push some more. I got so mad at that motorcycle once that I left it under a street light in a bad part of town. With the keys in the ignition too. Nobody would steal it so I had to load it back up on a truck a few days later.

I knew a guy years ago who parked a bike he could sell next to a grocery store at night with the engine running for half an hour hoping someone would steal it without results. He finally resigned himself to keep when when someone came along and offered to buy it.

I have a Saito 82 in needed of rebuild. I need gaskets and bearing, a piston rod & keeper, rings etc. Is there a vendor that carries all of these items. I call Horizon and they have some items and said to me, send it in and they will do the repair. Thanks for the offer but I want to R&R the it myself. Any help in providing a vendor(S) that stock what I need would be appreciated.

I bet you are riled up jim,that guy can fly a corsair and the 125 sounds nearly as good as a 115.

Well, that would be typical of narrow minded REICH wing "conservative" thinking.
With all the hand wringing about 640 X 480 Photobucket pictures screwing up the page, it's interesting that nobody seems concerned that something screwed up this one.
