You all win. To all I sent parts and instructions to at no charge I hope you all have a great Hobby. To anyone I may have offended for being "off topic" I appologize. I will not post here again unless specifically addressed. I have been "deleted" enough times to get the message.

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !
I'll even make it easy. Please click on this link and read the rules. I didn't untill a couple of my posts got zapped. The rules explain this clearly.

Bill:
Could you please send me an updated copy of your Saito notes. If you don't still have my E-mail I'll PM it to you.
Thanks

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !
Bill: Being a new member I must admit I did not and still don't understand the rules. Your site see's fit to to allow comments that have someting to do with RC stuff if it fits your agenda. I am really confused on what contribution I can make if I can't make a suggestion with out going thru you or the powers to be. If you think I am worth saving, please explain in a literary manner that I may understand.
I beleive one of the problems I have always had, is to not take the time to read the rules before joining anything. I joined your forum because I felt that at first glance your forum did not require reading the rules because of the way you presented your self. I do agree that unless the replies are delt directly with the RC issues than there is no place for freedom of speech. If freedom of speech means you cannot make a comment concerning the products delivered than what good is the effort to try and get the Companies to correct the problems. Having said that I don't know why my statements were deleted. I am really dumfouded.

Ron:
I assume you’re speaking of the support forum. There, a user will ask a question, that one question ONLY is to be dealt with in that thread, and dealt with by the thread host only. A different user with a different question should start a new thread. If the different user has a comment on the answer given he should PM or email the comment/question to the host. If something is left unclear the PM/email option is still there, or the user can start a new thread with a reference to the earlier one.
Here you are welcome to post any comments you wish, be they questions, complaints, praise, or a “Well Done.â€
The rules are just common sense. If you stay within the lines you would watch when talking to your mother there’s no problem.
Just remember the support forae are a different world.
Bill.

Bill: I am really ignorant when it comes threads, host and PM. This is my first encounter with this type of computer talk. I am used to going to the general public when I have a question or an answer to help someone. don't worry about me. I am sure you have better things to do than to train someone in the art of computer talk.

A friendly reminder to everyone. It is rare to find a topic on which everyone agrees. All members are welcomed to post their take on a topic, but if others disagree, lets keep the debate focused on the RC topic and not let it wander off to jabs at each other.
If you have something off topic that needs to be discussed with another member, instead of posting it in the forum, it is better to do that by email or PM.
Now start behaving or I am going to begin an after run oil thread.

You stated you are new to computers, and the internet, and forums. And that you know nothing about them, or the etiquette used on them.
You come here to Club Saito, and argue with the regulars that rules are not necessary and that you don't believe you should have to read them, learn them, or follow them.
I suggest you modify that idiosyncrasy, otherwise you may find yourself arguing more and enjoying the forums less.

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !
Hello
here are 2 marine Saito FA-40 with factory water jacket and flywheel : I got them both in Germany, maybe they were not imported in the USA ?
The open rocker one is MIB -note the red "W" (water ?) on the box lid - and the reference to the "FA-40W for motor boats" on the original Saito instruction sheet dated from 1982.
The german instructions from Simprop are intended for FA-40W AND FA-30W, would love to find it someday !

Thanks Chris, mine has a more bell shaped horn on the carb otherwise it's very similar. I should qualify that, I cut mine off at an angle because the intake was right against the firewall on an RCM 40.

I did not state that I was new to the internet, new to computers and don't believe in rules. Read my statement. Having said that I know what you are trying to say and I agree that I should read the rules and follow the guidlines. Thank you.

I'd like to state at this time that this is the Saito thread.
If you want to CRY and ARGUE.... go somewhere else like the CLUB HOUSE
If your post in this thread has nothing directly associated with Saito engines... IT MAY GET REMOVED
So Be forewarned

Please sell me one of those factory water cooled Saitos!!
Could you please describe how the water cooling jacket is constructed, and how it is assembled/attached to the cylinder?
I never knew these existed. Must be EU spec only. I have tried to make my own water cooled version:

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !
This has probably been addressed in this forum but I don't have time to read all 134 pages right now. I have a Saito 100 on a Mojo and am just now breaking it in. I had my first successful flight yesterday. Besides the tuning issues that I'm sure I can work through, the motor seems to have a lot of vibration when I give it throttle from idle. Once it comes up to RPM it smoothes out. Is this normal.
