I re-ordered the tires again today, and while I was at it I ordered the oil-filled shocks too.
Hopefully it'll work out this time.

Hey zbot it depends on what you want to do with your TT-01. Do you want to race, rally or drift with it?

Well, I am out of running around for a while. I was charging a battery how the MRC folks wanted me to (I had some false peaking issues) and my Super Brain 960 literally started to melt. I am sure that I will ahve to send it back to them for replacement/repair.

I have a 2A charger laying around, but with a 3600mah battery its just not worth it :P

I may go to the track tomorrow depends on how classes go for me. Exams are next week so I am trying to finish some lab project to get my grade up.

Unless you are going to lend me your charger while I am there I have no way to charge my batteries, see the post above yours

I am out of commission until I get it repaired/replaced.

Look on Ebay for your parts. Their some really good deals on there. As far as company everyone has there favorite some will only buy Tamiya parts but thats if you have money to throw away. I buy whatever is cheaper, just because it does not have the Tamiya name on it doesn't mean its not good. I buy GPM parts and Tamiya parts. If your going to get just the aluminum drive shaft by itself than you can purchase the regular aluminum drive shaft part number 53620. If your going to change the shaft joints as well then you will need the Tamiya TB Evolution IV Lightweight Aluminum Propeller Shaft #53783 becasue the TT-01 regular aluminum shaft will be to short it only works if you keep the stock prop shaft joints. Like I said you get get some good deals on ebay.

The manual you get with your TT-01 will explain everything and for now I guess you can just put them on the rims you get with your kit. Later you can get 26mm rims that you like. Keep it simple until you start building and learning about the car. And read through the forums I knwo its alot of pages to read but it has some good information in here.

ABS tires are alot better than just wraping the stock tires in tape. If you can get them go with the ABS tires.

Here is the charger I use. I think it is one of the best chargers for the money.

But it only charges at a max of 3A over wall power, the MRC Super Brain 960 will do 4.5A over wall power and costs the same amount. The 977 will do 2 packs at once and LiPO, but its $95 or so.

I have the duratrax charger as well but I kinda wish I had gotten something that could charge Lipo batterys also. Its a solid charger but a little cheap looking if you ask me. I think it would be a better investment to get something better that will serve you well for sevral years.
