let me guess, it opened in PDF viewer that you already had the OS manual opened in....like that hasn't happened before.

For the life of me, I don't understand why we didn't go metric in the early 1970s like we were supposed to. We were learning the system in high school. The whole civilized word did it. The United States, Liberia and Myanmar still use Imperial unit of measure, that's it.
Need a metric bolt? 5 x the price of the Imperial crap IF you can find one..
Any well stocked LHS should have small metric taps/drills.

A couple of years ago i wanted a right angle crankcase breather nipple for my fg57,had the standard nipple measured and pretty sure the fitter said it was 5x.6mm thread. That's when i shoved a right angle barbed retic fitting in there, works fine and does'nt leak.
Jim go ahead and kick yourself on me you can use other fittings close to that size that have a more commonly available thread...does'nt have to be a saito crankcase breather nipple.
ps give that computer a smack in the head while your at it.

From Horizon's page on the FA-115.
Key Features
Same size case as the .91, but more power than the 1.00
AAC design for lighter weight and increased longevity
Reliable start-ups and easy handling
Perfectly sized right for mid-sized aircraft
Overview
Saito continues its legacy by adding another powerful glow engine to its portfolio. This lightweight 4-stroke engine utilizes a .91-size case so it fits in smaller models, but has more power than the current FA-100. The FA-115 offers a better power-to-weight ratio for modelers interested in glow engine power systems.

Need your help with this one. A friend has an 80 and is looking for the HS needle. I have to admit to difficulty as any search leads me right back to the 82. That needle is common to many different engines.
Hoping someone may have a spare or at least the P/N so I can track one down for him or keep my eyes open at Toledo Friday.

FA115 ....23.49 oz
accordingly to Horizon the 100 is 2.59oz lighter than the 115,
wow, 2.59, that much ?, even Super Man could not fly with 2.59oz of kryptonite on his back
FA 125....24.69

Better to have more power than add dead weight at the nose to balance a plane with a short nose .

Sr, no biggy, I actually wanted the 115, but the price stopped me, and now knowing that the 125 is too much of a tight fit for my P-40's Cowl, I know I should have bit the bullet and bought one,,,,,, aa, you win/you loose,,
as for my post^, was just wanting to hear that good come-back that I know is coming from OF

This custom painted harley xg500 hit the grated spraybooth floor over the weekend (insert your own swear word) after a finishing flowcoat had been applied.Reckon i'll borrow dave's rip tombstone this thing.
THAT! looks zackly like an essential harley engine part i hear they keep the RIP tombstones in the saddle bags.
Jim bob you dang well know superman hates kryptonite...but he'd be faster if he was sitting in my midget mustang powered by the fa115 and the prop tips sound cool when they go supersonic with a boom

Yes sir, the .82 is fine, I was waiting for a gasket set for the rocker covers. I might get to run it today. I am nearly out of wood so I need to cut up a bunch and split it. The .82 has some fierce compression, the valve lash was too tight and castor/carbon built up on the exhaust valve seating surface so the exhaust had a slow leak. When I put oil in the exhaust port you could see bubbles rise during the compression stroke. I'll get it back to you as soon as possible. If you folks are interested, Back Order stuff seems to be coming to Horizon this month. I have the valves set to the Saito gauge setting. If you want them tighter I can do that but I don't like to.
