yo i got a heat sink with a fan built in does it maintain motor life? or is it just lke junk?
They are good on high end brushless motors or good quality brushed to keep the temps down. Don't really need it on a sprt tuned or stock silvercan but it can't hurt. It isn't junk it is just a matter of whether you need it or not.

And please take your time with your posts I was just reading through the thread and you really just have to take a deep breath and spellcheck or speak more politely. "Yo, is this junk" is not likely to get many responses. Just read aorund the forums and you will find most of your questions answred already [&:]

Chassis and gearboxes should handle it m8( they near bombproof) but it will handle badly at that speed but give it a try and let us know how it handles

It means solid built ive ran a BL system equaling 10turns and had no problems with the gearboxes, unless you hit something head on then i guess the chassis would explode into a million pieces lol

So you talk about a crash that will be very harmful if loose control!I thought that it could not afford a motor like this. Thanks

Yeh like i said the kit will stand up to a 10t motor with certain hopups like ali propshaft, metal bearing, metal motormount etc.
A 10t motor is gonna be fast and im sure u will control it but we all make mistakes with hitting curbs etc and at the speed of a 10t puts out its gonna do some damage lol
im running a 19t motor cos it suits me for speed and runtimes but ive tried most combinations on my tt and the 10t sucked my battery too quick []

If you feel confident in using a 10t motor do it but just remember at that speed a head on hit will cause alot of damage if you make a mistake

course a 10t is heaps of fun for speed and it will make your TT bounce like a rabbit on steriods lol

Well wouldn't it matter what spur and pinion size you have that varies the speed of your car? I know the turns of your motor is involved too. But then if you were to think about it..... theres a lot that has to deal with the speed of your car. Though the motor is still a motor no matter how many turns it is.

true m8y for top end speed u would need the 25/55 combo and for best launch stick with standard 19/61 combo the BL got VERY hot on standard gearing so i switched up to 25/55

@luke that delta looks awesome good job bro [sm=thumbup.gif]

How did you screw the motor plate in for the 25t pinion?

Well i got myself a new ESC. Though i haven't installed it yet. Made from a German company called LRP Electronics. Got myself an AI Automatic ESC 13T motor limit. Seems pretty nice for $55 haha. I also got a 55/58T spur gear set. Can't wait to install them.

I did the same rally conversion as many here, to allow somekind of offroad use.

Now i need to even out the edges. (yes it looks like sh**, but no stone can mess with my servo movement again! -and it is lighter 2.

-i dont plan on hitting things...If something brakes, -i´ll fix it! -all the parts are cheap, (well actually i did this so i would have an excuse to order the carbon chassis...-if this 1 brakes apart )

this was done b4 the rally conversion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HT6b6qpBqA

nice mustang, can i ask why you cut holes in the chassis, for a rally car, you want it sealed lol,
is it much lighter?

thanks, i cutted the chassis when i thought that i´ll make this a touring version, so now the rally version is cutted [X(]

It actually is light, and on rallying, the holes keep rocks and stones out, so it works. I allso put the reciever and ESC on upperdeck, and waterproofed them, so i can drive this anywhere.

I just made this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_jHo6OxNkg

-tested the strenght of cutted chassis , only one wheel nut and rear bumper dropped off! ( nothing broke, bumper was holded only with 2 sided tape)
was using rally tyres.

More videos ---> http://www.youtube.com/RangerPate

ot. it´s been warm winter in here, and no snow, so the "track" as seen in video is lame [:'(]. -only spot for 5 km with ice. sorry 4 shi*'y video quality
