Ya Christmas can't come to soon I am dieing to at least spool it up.
I got a nice case its a Compond bow black case Plano se 44. for $39.00 The t 500 fites
in it like a glove room for the TX and might be able to squeese the B400
in there to. I just had time to pop the T500 in it before the wife grabed it to wrape
it up for Christmas. I got it figured out how to charge my nimh batterys with
the Hyperion. One thing bothers me is that I downloded the owners manuel
before I got the charger and one of the specifications for type of batterys
reads 1-6 cell Lipo 100 to 6000 mah 3.7v cell types only. The book that came
with the charger has everything the same in it but that one line and it reads
1-6 cell lipo 100 to 20000 mah 3.7 v cell types only. Whats with that?
It works real nice charging my AA batterys I use to charge them in my DX6i
or my CPP transmiter and you never know when they are done.

Jpee
this is just a guess but I had a bad tail wag on my B400 and found that the tail
case was too tight and squeezing the bearings. I dont know if you know about that
being too tight could cause that.

Hi Guys,

I'll get right to it! I solved the tail WAG.

After replacing all of these parts with my back up inventory
Motor
ESC
RX
Gyro
(2) booms
Belt
Complete tail box...................it turned out to be the last thing I just changed..............the servo Hitec 65MG. I just a did a back yard 20 fooT hover and some punch outs up and down and saw no WAG. I won't have time to test fly it until later in the week. If this is silver bullit welllllllllllllllllll let just say; ITS TIME TO BUILD THE 500ESP!

JPEE,

Congrats on finding the problem. Good thing you don't give up easily. I just finished the CPP build as much as I can until I get the titanium boom I am about to order.

Evan,

I will get some pics of my fleet.

Hey Guys,

JPEE,

Congrats on locating the issue with the tail wag...persistence pays off!! I guess the crash may have caused some internal damage to the servo, that you couldn't have known about...even though it's a metal geared servo, I guess it's possible that it damaged the motor or other electrical part of the servo.

Nick,

Cool that you are bringing all your helis back off the shelf, and back to life! LOL... That tailboom sounds cool...titanium? Got a link?

Wow, I didn't realize your fleet was up to 6 helis and a plane now...

Evan,

I'll have to take a pic or two of my fleet for you guys as well...

I 've got some old pics....let me post my old ones first, and then I'll put updated ones up...

Carl,

Great find on the case...sounds like a good deal for $39...

So, you get to wrap up the 500 and put it under the tree? Cool...

Evan,

Here are some pics of my fleet....boy, this is ancient history now...LOL!

There are the two B400's, and I had TWO CPP's...and the CX2. Then there is the Hirobo XRB, I didn't even have the Quark yet in this pic....and I sold the silver CPP after this pic was taken...

How the times change...LOL

I'll have to take some pics and post my current fleet...kinda neat to look back though..

Glenn

Glenn,

Here is a link. http://www.super-skids.com/ The URL's never change with a different page, so you have to click on the superboom to view what I just purchased. Rich recommend it to me. I wonder what he has been up too. I haven't flown the CX in a long time and probably won't since I enjoy the Collective Pitch helis more.

3 of my helis have been grounded for a long time, so it might take awhile to get used to how they fly again. And I had that plane since the beginning of the year when I was frustrated that I couldn't fly helicopters. It only has 3 flights on it and it ended up I can't fly the plane, but I can fly the helis. It is hard to turn a plane that size with only 3 channels. It really needs 4 channels.

She tried t get to wrap the heli but that was not going to happen. I am paying for it myself.
So far I got $800.19 tied up in it with tools and stuff. Soon as the Visa bill comes I am going to get a Christmas loan for 6 mounths to pay the visa bill. Over 800 dollors and still need a gyro
4 servos and a few batterys.

Helistyle,

I am doing good. Good to hear you found time to get at least one flight in with your heli.

Evan,

Here is a modern picture of my fleet...LOL!

I posted the one pic for all the non-Eflite helis, since you have seen (owned) all the Eflite ones, so they are kinda boring...

Hey Heli,

Nice to see you are catching up...and glad you are still interested in helis and the forum, seeing how busy you have been.

Glad you got to fly the little heli, even if it was only one pack...

Heli,

The 500 is great, I just wish I had more time to fly it...maybe this weekend, but as you know, it can be pretty cold this time of year, not supposed to be out of the 30's this weekend for a high Sat and Sun...so I can fly it, but it won't be very comfortable.

Still making out well with the 2 Blade 400 battery packs in series, it's got plenty of power, and I can pretty easily get 6 minutes of easy flying in with those packs. I will probably be looking at getting some better packs for it in the spring.

Hope you can get a heli before too long....how's the school planning going, still going to do that next year sometime?

Glenn,

Nice fleet. If only the days were longer we would have more time to fly all our helis.

yeah it's been really cold here, last weekend it snowed here, also with alot of sleet, winter is deff here. I have been looking around at heli's trying to gather information and such on my next purchase, prob won't be untill spring unless a killer deal comes about. I am fine with the wait though, the walkera is teaching me tons I can nose in hover pretty well now and it feels very good. I'll be starting school right after the holidays prob 2nd week of jan 2009, I'm all set to go to college, it actually feels really good.

Evan ~

Here's my toys... At home I also have one other little heli which is the Helimax Rotofly, and then of course all my cars which I miss actually !... I just got back from going out to dinner, so I'll put that short video of the Trex 450 doing the backflip, and I'll have to go back and catch up here also.. I think Nick posted a video, so I gotta go back and check it out if he did....

Nick ~

I watched your Gaui video, and that was pretty impressive. You sure make it look easy though.. Hopefully this summer I can be at least close to how you fly now maybe... I fell asleep earlier...LOL.. The backflip vid will be ready probably in the next half-hour or so...

Evan ~

The Logo 10 has never been flown. I still need an esc for it, and then it will be complete. The rest of the electronics are not installed yet, but standing by... The heli itself is just mocked up as ya see in the pics. I need to be able to disassemble it for when I have to drive back home here probably in the next 10 days or so... An 18 hour drive through snowy mountains is gonna be a blast...LMAO...
