Thanks Pete, she's a 5' 10" beautiful blond who drives a Mustang. The guys bank is KIWIBANKNZ, I'm still digging for ways to do it. I'd gladly send a Bank Draft or Certified check but he has those options crossed out.

I finally got rid of my PITA POS 2016 F150, and got this to replace it. What a ride!

There used to be a guy who built those in the back of a hobby shop. He charged closer to $10k for most of them. Some went overseas. He was a master builder and they all looked good. I remember seeing a P-38 kit from Ziroli laid out on two benches.

I don't think mine will look that good!
Can you see why i'm worried?
That sounds a bit weird that he won't accept those forms of payment dave.I've got a problem myself that's as scary as looking at a nice looking highway bandit/bank manager you can't shoot. The vet next door neighbour has given squeek the cat a hair cut.Now she looks like a cross between a rabbit/fox or a beaten up old teddy bear,so in the same order i don't know whether to shoot and eat the rabbit, shoot the fox,or just play with the old teddy bear.I'm as worried as you can get when you hear a saito engine fly past and know for damn sure you should have changed those bearings six months ago.

A truck does not qualify as a truck, (at my house) unless it has an 8' bed, the Chevy dealer where Geri bought her Cruze had about 40 pick ups, not one single 8' bed in the 1500's. The 150 above is beautiful though. If I buy a used four stroke engine, no matter the brand, I change the bearings. Boca Bearings know's my address well. $11.88 and free shipping is cheap insurance. My goal is an F150 with the 3.0 litre Diesel.
Squeek looks much better furry.

It looks genuine dave and i think i recognize the base in the background.Did you try the mobile number he lists?
Okey i looked up your beech staggerwing, very pretty aeroplane that would suit a saito fg84?
Jim if you look carefully at the vid he's flying the little saito 30 about two clicks lean on the main needle.Otherwise it sounds fine,i fly a pheonix rainbow ultralite with one will post a pic if i can find it.

Thanks Pete, it's currently 10:30 PM in Invercargill, I'll time my call for about mid day Monday.
I think that is a lousy recording, neither of my .30's are that harsh sounding, nor are they that loud. There is a lot of distortion in the sound.

Went to a local club's corn roast today. lA fellow there had just bought a plane with a very low time Saito 1.25 up front. Got talking with him and he said he was not intending to even use the glow foyr stroke as he was going over to a D L E gasser. Told me I could have it for fifty bucks. Gee, I wish it had been a 1.15! I bought it anyhow.
No problem with what people look for in a "truck"
An eight box is a pretty low standard for some folks. The "pickup trucks" of today are posh ego haulers more than anything else. Most pickups today rarely do any thing harder than hauling from an overweight old fart 20 miles to work. Doesn't matter if the box is 6 or 8 feet for light duty work. Heck most station wagons can carry 1/2 ton. Lets at least look for a 1 ton!
My father's trucks started at 12 foot stake bed trucks, usually dump- stakes. If it couldn't haul 4 cubes of12 inch block or at least 20 section of scaffolding it wasn'ft worth the bother. Pick up trucks need not apply!
Geez , lets talk about motorcycles

I prefer a truck to be able to climb hills and take the trails without sounding like an second hand Russian tank. They have to last 19 years like my old 93 Toyota did. I've got 6 years on this Tacoma and it will be going long after I'm gone by the looks of it. An 8' bed is useful if you're hauling plywood sheets, or sheetrock. I don't do that anymore.
We don't drive many big flat beds over here it's mostly station wagon 4x4's.Here's a small one from around 1990,we got quite a few here.Don't let looks fool you, this lada niva really is as noisey as a russian tank but nowhere near as reliable. How could they make a 1600cc four cylinder engine and gearbox so primal?...it's parked right in the middle of good fox shooting country.
Jim,dave is right that is an awful sound track wondering what sound made you think the bearings in the fa30 were bad. When i've heard that sound it's hard to describe but you know it from past experience.Kinda like a slightly harsh shuffling sound as it goes past. The reason i said he's running it two clicks lean is because when he dives it and the prop unloads the engine bogs down, not enough fuel.
