I am only using one valve for gear hydraulics. My doors, speed brakes, inlet doors are all on pneumatics. I suggest you keep the hydraulic system as simple as possible. I think Levi has the same setup as me but I am sure he will chime in here.....

I saw your mig at top gun last year. It looks truly wonderful. I have a question for you. Do you have any images you can post of the litho you did for your engines. The have the rear ones made but I'm having some trouble with the top part. I looked at the pics I took of yours but they are not close enough and do not help me.
Thanks

I scored them into the metal by marking where I wanted the folds and then placing most of the sheet in a woodworking vice, leaving about 20-25mm sticking out of the vice on the end that gets glued to the fibreglass fairing, with each fold line lining up with the top of the vice. I would then bend the litho sheet along each line and then move onto the next line and so on....hope that makes sense?
I made the raised sections out of G10 circuit board.
Mounting turkey feathers.....I glued blocks into the fibreglass nozzles and then screwed the turkey feathers to those from the inside.
Hope that helps.

Levi that jet takes off in just meters! Wow! Which turbines are you using?
How short of a landing can you make do you think?
I have a pair of KT 140G's ready to go in mine when I get started.
Your jet is inspirational for me so keep posting video and pics please!!
Love the digital camo, my favorite too!

Thanks Secret and Chris,
Chris if I held the brakes on then launched it would honestly be off the ground in 30 meters. My bird weighs 23.5kg dry and I'm using P140RXs for power.
On this landing I had a cross wind and no wheel brakes so the landing can be shortened up too.
Heres another video that I posted in this thread a while back, you can really see the takeoff power.

There is no RC plane like this one Chris so stay motivated on the build mate.
I'll post some closer pics of her later.

Levi are you flying just elevons or elevator and ailerons? Or did you do a mix of both. I have functional ailerons on mine. I was told to mix the ailerons and still set up the tail group as elevons. Still could use a xicoy setting on the cg if anyone has usef the xicoy to set theirs up.

about rear up exahust alum panels, in my plane, i used real aluminum one by one cuted make the scale shape, and make a carbon fiber at the bottom ,
all glued with epoxy. see , are one by one, if you see full size, they are all differents, like thisuu
at the final exausht also are aluminum , in this case .... lot of work, see 3d printer helmet, and scale wheel, iff you need it.

Great looking scale nozzles Gustavo. I assume the last pic is the full size Mig you're using for reference? Nice work.
TSHARK I'm still only using ailerons and I'm pretty happy with how it rolls. It could use a little more authority at slow speed but it's not something that I would change at this stage.
