OK Pap, they have different part numbers Sait50 and Sai56, the engine code for the 50 GK is F, here is that page: https://www.horizonhobby.com/SearchD...ain=&pageView=
The code for the 50 plain is E
My 50 GK has the Sai56 valves in, mine is a later 50 model. If you haven't used those engine codes just type in Saito F in the Horizon search bar.

Can’t play with the low speed we found that they run different up north then down south. Don’t know if it’s the cold humidity or the hot and dry.

Under Cut Valves
guys, yes-yes a Saito may not be a Chevy SB, but the increase in the Fuel/Air Mix flow with Under Cut Valves in a Saito should be a percentage of the same result in a Chevy SB. otherwise Saito would not be using Under Cut Valves, I have read more than once that Under Cut Chevy 2.02 valves flow 40 percent more fuel/air mix than a Non Under Cut 2.02 valve

There are some things you can try Crunchy. Understroked like it is the compression ratio is less, and the squish zone is widened. Both of those things will retard the fuel ignition timing in a glow engine. In order to advance the timing you can try a hotter glow plug and increase the nitro content in an attemp to get the rpm up to 9000 with a 16x8. If those don't get you there perhaps an elect ignition would.

but Ch ignition should be here this week.
Dave i looked at the horizon site re the fa56 parts new.YOU guys pay next to nothing for new parts over there.I could have bought all those parts and put it together over there for the same price as i'd pay here for a new boxed engine with a valve lash adjuster as thick as my house front door mat.I spun my small cap 232 in at low level and bent the crank on an fa82,cost me no change out of a c note.

Capt why the rubber gloves when holding the tacho,is it somehow toxic, just kidding, but how come it only reads to 10,000rpm,did you used to own a saito fa125? on a serious note if it helps you to scale what your 16x8 unknown as you did'nt say prop should pull on the fa150 re max rpm...my fa115 will pull a steady 9000 on 10% swinging a mas classic 15x8.Someone here mentioned the mas scimitar q tip props and i like their 14x10 flying the fa115 as well.

Well the tac was for you older gentleman, thought a nostalgia moment. The gloves well it’s only 28 degrees up here and i was on call for the ambulance service and didn’t want to get glow fuel all over and they protect the hands from the 100 mph wind that would freeze my delicate hands. HaHa.
I don’t like how the 135 turns the 16-8 ao i will order the 150 crank and get the RPM’s back up to speed.

yeah I need to get a new digital tac one of the number’s is missing part of it. the ace tac is like new and works pretty good. It doesn’t jump around like the digital tac’s do.
