Never mind the shed, I just help the wife plant a Tomato plant, I suppose I now have to clean up the box completely,
I think I will do some work on my next ARF project instead, I just got the Phoenix PC21 30cc, I now want the 60cc they make, a Kingtech 45 will be perfect, dream on

Wing and fuse have been joined ( dowels and screws )
One thing that must be done when drilling the wing dowel holes is to pres down on the front of the wing, what you are looking for here is to make the dowel holes as high as possible, doing so the dowels will be at its optimum position when the wing is placed on the fuse, when you place the wing on the fuse you'll have to press down the back of the wing with the screws to have it against the boat with no gap around the front top leading edge skin.
If you end up with a small gap around the front of the wing saddle, not to worry, it can be fixed by adding thick CA to the bottom of the dowel holes on bulkhead 5, that will push the wing up into the fuse closing the gap.

Wing saddle added 1/4" medium hard balsa, reinforced the fuel tank box with 1/2" tri stock balsa and working on aligning the stab, almost there but lunch first.
Can you believe it? I'm already thinking which jet I'm going to build next and I'm not counting the prop jobs I got going and thinking of .

very nice wood job on your R54, I think I already posted that but here is how I solved a anoying fact. i realised early that the assembly require to precisly put the stab in place and then remove it several times. To avoid to have to make precise measurements and hold the stab in place with pins or tape everytime , I centerd the stab and then drilled 3 holes trough the stab and the balsa stab support plate. In thoqe holes I permantly placed 3 balsa dowels ( glued on the stab only with easy to sand white glue). those dowels alow you to remove and accuratly place the stab without having to mesure. I have to say they have been very cool during the process of instaling flight controls cables ( especialy the rudder one), final sanding and covering......
About the kit, I preordered one for a fellow one month ago and bruce said me next year

Thanks for the complements on the wood work, it's the kit, Bruce did a superb job on the design and cutting of the kits ( lots of work I'm sure )
My build here is to illustrate some of the things that are not on the constriction manual, not to show that this is better or worst but to add more info from a long time so so builder![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
It takes time to up-load and to record the build info here but, this is part of the hobby ( mine at least ) to do build threads of all my builds ( been doing it since..... forever with pleasure
)
One thing I learned from so many build threads I've done, more pictures less words![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Oh yeah! So you know I may be at Kentucky Jet for a day ( Sunday ) preparing to go but its all in the planing so far ( its been along time since I do short trips )

And an interruption in between the build, the wife thinks I spend tens of thousands of dollars learning how to build model airplanes and buying equipment so I can glue a small piece of clay she got at the S.A. for a few cents )

I'm not sure about other parts of the country but here in Sac, Cali, we are really enjoying the first summer days, loving it

No work done on the Reaction this week, only one day off, I'm out of free time but the build must continue but at slow pace at the moment ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
It has been 3 1/2 months since I started the build, you have to get into account that I'm not home every night, if I was, it probably be at least framed up by now.
