JPEE,

Hope it doesn't rain too much for you, so you can get some flights in. I think it is time I get the 600 out soon and blow some snow around. LOL

Nick,

As much air as the 600 pushes, you are liable to start a bizzard...LMAO

That would look pretty cool though, especially if the snow was that light, fluffy kind, it would make a heck of a sight...

Have fun if you fly in the snow...

yeah thanks for the comments on the no training gear it was pretty weird lol and glenn i live in north houston (spring) so just look at that part when you look but luckily its gonna be 74 degrees tomorrow but back down to like 30 on monday

man i really want a trex 250 but cant afford it and i might be able to get like a basic kit for like 200 and just build it for the fun of it and fly the b400 in the meantime while im saving for eletronics but idk ill just have to wait and see

Evan,

Thanks, that will be easy to remember, Houston...Lincoln, Seattle, LA, now I need to figure out Heli, and Carl, and then I'll be set, and have something to look forward to in the paper besides terrible news on the economy...LOL! []

You are making great progress, already no training gear...and sounds like you'll get some more practice tomorrow too...

The Trex 250 seems pretty cool, but they are having some minor tail issues, it would be good to wait until they come out with a V2, like Gaui did. Gaui made some really cool improvements on the newest version, and it didn't take them long to make all the changes either. This is a very fast moving hobby!

No matter what you/we get, there will always be a better, more improved model coming out soon, so it doesn't make too much difference, really.

I still like my Gaui, it's great to fly in smaller places where I can't fly the B400 or especially the Trex...

Blizzard....LOL!
Glenn,

If it isn't too bad outside tomorrow I might fly the 600 outside. Yeah it is hard to find any good news in the newspaper. Someone from Gaui hangs out on Helifreak and reads the threads. He doesn't post much, but listens to what people suggest for improvements on the 200.

Evan,

I was just talking about flying the 600 in the backyard, since it is too cold to venture too far from home. And there is no way I will ever go inverted with that in the backyard. It just isn't safe. But once sping comes I am going inverted with the 600 at a baseball field or my flying field.

Yeah this thread is screaming forward ! Its almost second here coming really soon... Its hard to type, as I've been in the garage and its not heated...My fingers are numb...LMAO... We have a spare bedroom that I need to finish up for having a hobby room inside so I could use more for the wintertime. Its snowing hard right now. Nice thing with the Torque-Tubes is the cold weather won't effect them as much as a belt would have probs... Someday I'll convert my 450 to the TT system.

Oh.... Nick, you should get a video of the 600 sometime here soon... Get your dad to film a flight maybe, if ya go to the field. It would be cool for a snow flight...LOL...

Cheers,

~ Jeff

Jeff,

Sounds like all that sunshine and warm weather has made you a "weenie"...LOL!

Yeah, my fingers stop working too when it gets really cold out...hard to move those sticks fast like that...not that I move mine very fast anyways...[]

I want to try a forward flip next time out with the B400...gotta practice that one, it doesn't come as naturally to me, at least. Somehow, it seems scarier to do...

I did another backflip the other day, seemed like old school stuff now...LOL

Gotta move up the ladder of difficulty...

Keep sharp on the G4...let us know when you have some spare sim time...[sm=lol.gif]

Jeff,

Yeah I love the TT's. I love watching the 600 spool down and it goes on and on and on. Like the Energizer bunny. LOL

Glenn,

Cool to hear you did another flip. Are you planning on doing inverted hovering anytime soon?

Nick,

I was just playing around when I did the last flip, it wasn't particularly pretty...lol

It seems as though it would be easy to stop the flip halfway through, and then try to see how long I could keep it inverted....maybe a good way to get a started on inverted flight..from way up high...LOL!

I have been kinda "stallling" the flips when it's inverted, but only for a short time, maybe build on that...

I was just practicing on Phoenix. It has a small gym to fly in...and I was flying a Trex 700 in there...LOL!! Talk about a bull in a china shop...[sm=what_smile.gif]

Lots of fun!

Well guys,

I'll add one more post for the night...one closer to the pass for second place...LOL

Gotta get some rest, gotta go to work tomorrow...

Nick, so you have a couple of weeks off from school now?

That must be a nice break, for sure...

Enjoy it as much as possible without being able to fly much...[]

Night guys...[sm=redface.gif]

Glenn,

That is cool Phoenix has a T700.

Tuesday was the last day of the quarter and I start on January 7th. I am kind of bored not being able to fly. I have been on G4 a lot, but it isn't as fun as the real thing.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Glenn
I am in south western Pa around Pittsburgh in a town called Moon Twp.
I was just sitting here thinking about this time last year waiting for Christmas
and wanting my CX2 my first heli my wife got me. Now I got 5 of them LOL.
I was driveing her nuts about the CX2 so she found a little heli called a
SkyCopter in RiteAid parmacey. The first day I had it I was messing with it
In the garage and got bord so I took it out side. I said on the box indoor
only , But it was called a Sky Copter and ther was no sky in the garage
so I thought what the heck. I had it in my driveway doing pritty good
and it got too high and the last I saw of it was heading towards the
Pittsburgh airport. I lost sight of it and it had a red blinking light so I
searched my neighbors yards and down in the woods for hours looking for it
It was pritty high and about 6 houses down when the sun blinded me and
I lost sight. I never did find it. Why would they call it a SkyCopter LOL.
It was earley in the morning and ladeys were comeing out of ther back doors
wondering what I was up to and had to try to convince them that a 63 year
old man lost his toy Helicopter.
