Not these ones. I haven't seen any aluminum parts that do this fo rthe TT01. I bought them more to dress it up.

Hey everyone, I just picked up a huge lot of TT-01 Chassis' there were at least 2 tubs in the picture, parts, full parts trees etc off ebay, once I receive it and figure out what is all there, I will list everything. In the meantime if you want shoot me a message if you are in need of a part and as I go thru the box I will set it aside and message you back

Hey everyone, first post here.

Anyways, just got an 8turn Single Reedy Modified motor. Went to the hobby shop and got an RC- Line Limitless ESC. That was a cheapo and I could tell because it stopped working. Anyways, I am looking for a good ESC that can run my 8t motor. I think I would rather a limitless and maybe one that can run both brushed and brushless (maybe). I would prefer it to be programable also (but if it's not, oh well). Also, can you tell me if it has reverse and smart braking. Cheers.

And by the way, I am running 55/25 in the TT-01 with 3000mah NimH batteries at 7.2V (6 cells I believe).

TT-01 is a great car..... it just keeps on chugging. And don't worry about hop- ups to handle all that extra power- they are coming!!!

Not too bad stealth it takes a while getting used to track driving alot different from parking lots lol
stick with it m8 more you practice the more you will nail it
And yeh the TT does suffer on turns alot try getting a hi torque servo for steering helps alot.
Or take the servo saver off and recenter that one worth a try [8D]
I found smooth power helps on the track once you learn the layout come into to the corners slow and smoothly out after a few laps u find slow is smooth is faster lap times

i got my car back together after a catastrophic crash last night, and ran it today. now, i'm not having trouble with overheating the motor or esc, but the battery connector actually MELTED today after a full (4200 mAh) pack with my 8x2T motor. would upgrading to deans connectors help this problem?

Defo m8 anything under a 10turn and those tamiya connectors start to fuse together lmao
deans are the best for high current

Tamiya plugs are notorious for melting with high mah batteries. First upgrade aside from the usual bearings, ball diff and one way was to change all my plugs for deans. Lower resistance. Should stop your connection melting problem.

I know this is annoying but nobody has answered my question. Cheers in advance guys.

Sorry no one answered you,You can get a Novak GTB alone or a Sidewinder bl set,the sidewinder will be less that the novak an you will get a motor. I run a GTB with a 3.5 in my TT01 and had no problems since Ive bought it a year ago. Theres also the Tekin G11 if you dont want reverse thats a good one too.

But if you ask me which has a smoother power band I would say the GTB and the G11 the G11 isnt brushless. I also have a MM 7700 too but its not as smooth as the other two.

These are some of the one that I use I cant tell you of any others because Ive never used them.

Thanks for the answer. I was looking at one of the Novak Brushed/Brushless just in case I ever decide to go brushless.

nick, i use the Mamba max, http://www.b-p-p.com/proddetail.php?...Max_Controller and i love the adjustability it has. -and you can find it with brushless motor at about 180usd.

You can change the throttle/brake curve, lipo cut/offs,timing, power out of line/how fast it starts from standstill (saves gears) and alot more -all using your own laptop/pc !

http://www.castlecreations.com/products/mamba_max.html

I dont know what kind of setups Novak has . I do know it is good though.

cool mamba vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46ssLpgky5E

So far I am tossing up between a Mamba ESC or a Novak GTB. I know I can run either brushed or brushless with the Novak but can I do the same with the Mamba? I'm only asking because I just bought a new motor and I don't really want that to go to waste.

Mamba has no brushed motor limit! -you can put 1 turn unit in if you like.

-quote from manual: "note, there is no motor limit with either Reversing brushed or high power brushed wiring methods")
