either one...the grey one has a power panel that you have to wire up and you can use a plug in glow starter that gets power from the 12v battery thats inside the starter. you have to adjust the plastic stops to fit your chassis and line up with your fly wheel.

The OFNA partner number is: 10250
I have one....works great. Make sure you put the plastic liners to line up the car to start easier. It makes a world of difference.

Hellfire rims/tires on your CRT? How do you like them?
I hate the ones that come with it... Mainly cause they are white.

RE: Official Jammin X1CRT Thread
I broke it. Holy chassis flex.
Basically, I landed on the tail after a triple. The chassis bent where it narrows for the rear wheel, and bent the rear center shaft as well, which mangled the rear center brace.
So, it looks like I'm in for new shafts and a new brace, and I'm hoping I can just straighten the chassis. It doesn't look too bad, just a straight bend.
I figure that I should also pick up a z-brace while I'm at it. Could that have prevented this?
Also, the original part on the RTR is the 40658, but I see a 40695 as well:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4458
Would this be a stronger part to replace what I've bent?
I alsso will order the aluminum center braces.
For those of you asking what the difference is between the RTR and the Kit, the answer appears to be "a lot of aluminum." As I look at replacing parts that have now gotten bent, I'm finding that I can spend $9.99 for the plastic pieces that come with the RTR, or spend like $38 for the aluminum ones that come with the kit. No wonder it's more expensive, and also more durable.
I'm looking at $109 for the shaft, chassis braces and the z brace, and if I have to get a new chassis, that's another $100, so at $209 before shipping, that was a mighty expensive landing. It didn't even look that bad, I landed on the wheels and tried to take off again but couldn't, because the shaft was so bent that it hits the motor mount.
Thanks,
Raketemensch

Yes the RTR comes with plastic junk braces... I did the same damage to my CR buggy. Get yourself the Pro version CNC braces... problem solved.

Man, after seeing what a single tail landing did to my truggy, I'm not putting any carbon fiber anywhere near it. Not even in the bag next to it. I'll deal with the extra weight. I'm considering an iron skidplate. Maybe even some lead shock towers.

RE: Official Jammin X1CRT Thread
Must have just landed wrong, I had some nasty spills with mine, even had a runaway and smoked a curb @ at least 30mph and all that broke was front bumper
the front brace and a bent center axle.
So I dunno I'm rather impressed with how mine has been holding up.

Heheheheh, it's funny, because I clearly recall coming around the corner before that triple and thinking, "This is thing is really solid."
I'd heard stories about broken wing mounts and front bumpers, but mine were really holding up.
