my MVVS 35cc gasser came with a bad Walbro, it would not pump fuel ! I even had the chain saw shop rebuild it . it still would not pump. I called Walbro, told the lady what the carb was on and the problem, she search Walbro's files and found I was telling the truth and she sent me a new carb free
that's the ticket

If the FG-11 floods, it is possible the carb is damaged. It has a pump in it with check valves, and there may be some debris that is keeping one of them from fully closing, and that will cause it to leak and run poorly. I have never has gas leak out of it regardless of tank position. Might want to consider rebuilding with new gaskets. According to the there is no limitation to where the tank is positioned in relation to the carb with the exception of distance, 200mm Center of tank to center of engine.[/QU
the motor ran great . The only problem was the low adjustment changed considerable with fuel height. once the tank was down below half or more and the pumped had to pull instead of having the pressure of the fuel above the carb height the mixture would run leaner ,and need a readjustment. The motor would flood after sitting a hour or more after the motor shut down . break the siphon on the tank and it could sit with a full tank for ever. My motor was not the only one with the same conditions. Two other fg motors in the same air frame a 14c and another fg 11 were experiencing the same results. since i have lowered the tank to the center line all of the above conditions have stopped and the motor holds the same adjustments no matter the fuel level. so maybe i am compensating for a faulty carb but it runs like a swiss watch now .

I will have to say that the short time I have been flying
i have never needed to pump any of my Saitos either.
Mans then I get three of them with a pump. The 300 I just got has an after market pump. So what do I do take the pump off and see how it runs without the pump and then put it back on and see how run’s with the pump? The 120 and 300 duel carb and plug has the Saito pump.

Well, researching adding a second key to it. Only has one, and it requires 2 keys to program a third. Going the dealer route is expensive. Apparently the same software I use for making changes to the 2018 will work to program new keys.
That’s what I like about my old trucks. I can have a dozen keys made and they just work.
I am looking at a tuner but I don’t know my last truck I got crazy with and kinda put me off on doing all that again.

My work truck is 99 F250 7.3 ltr diesel. Great engine but needs new orings for the oil pressure driven fuel injection system. I think there's like 15 orings total but it's leaking oil mostly at the turbo riser. Not a job I'm looking forward to. If I put large Saito stickers on it maybe it'll stop leaking?
My 99 had 346000 before the doors wouldn’t latch anymore and the bed was so rusty nothing would stay in the box anymore.
But it would run it had baby swamp injectors adrenaline high pressure oil pump and the swamps tuner along with a bigger turbo.

The guy is as patient as he is talented, that must have taken months if not years.
I have been ordering some parts from MacGregor and that works out very well, by picking and choosing between them and Horizon I can get everything I need except exhaust parts. I may undertake an early 82 next because I have a crankcase and a carb that are lonely.

Heck with patience and skill. I admire the guts it takes to fly that plane.
Been buying all my new Saito parts fro MacGregor for the last few years.
