The pile behind the trailer is twice that high now.

Gents, I've been very busy the last few days, I now have plenty of wood for the winter and more to split. There are two stacks 9' wide by 6' high, the second is hidden by the first. I finished the Saito 50 and have started on an 82-a.

The Norwegian Princess is not quite that far along, she still likes to split with an axe. I use hydraulics
She has been doing her favorite thing this time of year; taking three day trips up north on her motorcycle to take in the fall colors.
If she gets a chance this winter, she may put tha R-325 together for me. She did finish Re-tiling the upstairs bathroom last month. I'm afraid to retire, she may put me to real work.

This 82-B was passed on to me the Crunch, a comparo with my rebuilt one will be interesting, for a few minutes anyway.
That makes for a beautiful ride, my daughter is talented like your wife, she could build/assemble one of those Sport 500 helicopters that would fly perfectly. I just had to install a new control valve on the splitter, what a bummer, everything on it was tighter than the hub hinges of hades. I can speak from experience, when you retire you'll wonder how you ever had time for a job. The pay for retirement work is long on promise and short on delivery.
A couple of 82 parts coming today, play time is iffy for today.

i thought I would be cool and buy a friend a 4 pack of some disgusting beer. It was 20 dollars.
The only reason I knew it was disgusting because he felt inclined to give me a bottle. I will take a Guinness Any day.

Not really one for beer, but I do enjoy hard cider. I don't know what it is about it either, but it hits me quickly with only 5%, while beer tends to do nothing for me.

Life it too short to drink pi$$ beer! I'm partial to imported Polish, Czech, and German beers. I usually only drink beer with food so a six pack stretches a long way. There are few domestic beers I like, mostly craft beers but Yuengling isn't too shabby The problem being its hard to get in Oklahoma.

Since you asked, I picked up the Circus Pink Monokote late Friday. Not bad match too (see pic) However; this weekend was shot down building and leveling a base for the metal shed to store the new backup generator. I hope to get the shed completed this week. Its a Click-Well Shed made in Oz! I finally got the insurance claim approved on Friday for the storm damage and the contractor is coming by today with the paperwork so I can get that started. I am getting a new roof, gutters, roof turbines, garage doors, and Electric Heat Pump. 80+ mph winds really do a number on trees and the flying debris tears everything else up. I also have to do a bit of shopping to replace the damaged electronics.
My Granddaughter comes down every morning to spend some Gandad time, she placed an accessory on my wrist that you could wear while flying the pink engine and plane.

huh, I just was looking for a bench brush and came upon some Pink covering I didn't know I had. Then a Purple one. Then remembered, oh, right daughter started a plane and that was the covering.

Great day's work Dave. It takes about 10x that amount of firewood to feed the outdoor water furnaces for our radiant floor systems in my house and shop (5180 sq.ft under roof). It's fun to cut, split and stack the first cord, after that it's just work. I wouldn't even do it but seriously, radiant floor heat is just the best. Snuggly warmth everywhere.

Sad day yesterday with the loss of Nine 0 Nines and the passengers. Makes me wonder just how well Collings maintains their equipment. Behind my friends barn where he is restoring the Desert Rat is the A-26 that Collings had. It had crashed on takeoff when an engine disintegrated. Real shame.
