Not sure how I missed this. Congrats on the 60T Gary. If you run it I'd love to see the numbers.

yeah
I feel the same way. My trouble is I have 1 new ish engine and the rest are used. But all run. I just need to take time and go through and get them all clean and presentable
Oh and week moment I picked up another 65. Needs some love.

I do do have a question for all the GK can you clean that in antifreeze?

if you no longer want it to be a GK you can. Pull the gold covers first, the black will strip off and need to be repainted.

Going over in my mind my Saitos, all the glow ones are used, the gas are new, have three of those, FG-11 and a pair of 30's. I think I have a 45, 65, 72, 91 and a pair of 100. I think the rest of my collection are two OS, 52 and 70, two YS, a 65 and 110, neither one have been run up yet, a DLE 20, DLE 30 DA 100 and a XYZ20 DLE20 clone. Then I have a pair of NGH 38CC 4 stroke gas. My one and only 2 stroke glow is an OS 90. It will be a shelf sitter, it was given to me. Whats funny, the only engines I do run are the Saito. The OS 52 is on a shelf, I don't know where I put the 70, and the gas 2 strokes I haven't flown in 2 years. The only one I flew this year has been the FG-11 in the LT-40. I did run up one of the FG-30's though, Nice running engine. Will take a while before it will hand start, but it already runs up to 8400 with an APC.

My Saitos are easy to remember they are both .80s. Both are used one is came in a Blue/White box and the other the gold/black box. The Blue/White is having problems so I am going to pull it and put the gold/black one in its place. It should run like a top I bought it off Gary!

Pretty sad shape but the price was dirty cheap.
Right now busy converting a pair of nice Saito FG-20 from stinkolene back to proper model airplane (glow) fuel.

Oklahoma, your warranty is still in force, let me know how it runs for you .

I would be shocked if it didn't run like a Swiss watch. I may need to negotiate for a little of your TLC for my other .80. I'm certain you could whip it into shape. If I can ever get these honey dos off my plate I think I might put it on the test stand. I need to cover a pink airplane first.

I only have 4 Saitos, I couldn't use more, but I wouldn't mind owning more LOL

New, but pre owned,
FA 115, thanks again Gary !!
FA 100,

Used and pre owned,
FA 100 Twin, thanks again Dave H !!
FA 82, thanks again Dave H and Captcrunch !!

I saw that pre owned never started OS 95, I really wanted it for $180 shipped, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it, I already have engines I may never fly.

Default Saito FA82 Exhaust Adaptor

Gary, received the package, thanks. The adaptor looks to be 75°. I think this is the sketch I posted here

12mm 15° Male to Female Adaptor:

I think I've figured out what happened. The first post I made describing the adaptor I referred to it as a 75° adaptor, all posts after that I referred to it as a 15° male to female adaptor. My fault, I have a way of making things more difficult than they have to be.

Lonnie you need a good spanking with an apc prop of your choice. Capt no harm done bragging about how many saito's you have, might feel a bit stupid afterwards but it's all good fun. A fellow ex shooter was a long time keen reloader too and still has a lot in his shed, reckons if it ever catches fire and goes bang it'll be raining saito's for a week.

Dave your old 62 harley pacer looks like what they call art deco back in the sixties re colour and shape.

Problem I have is I don’t like to brag about what I have I try to be a little more humble than that I have been very fortunate to find a lot of great deals on eBay for pennies on the dollar compared to buying new ones. I have also done a lot of Horse trading to get a few to.
My point I was trying to make is that I have a problem, almost like an addiction to buying Saito‘s And that’s bad but I don’t think they have a Saito AA program. Lol

Saitoholics Anonymous doesn't have any member ship yet.

I now only own Saito's I sold off the OS 62-v and 95-v. Woops, I lied, I still have an OS 120 with a pump.

I am kinda bummed out.
I have all but two of the single cylinder Saito engine’s
the 30 open rocker and the 220. Those two engine’s are hard to come by and when I do find one the price is out of my budget. Someday I will find them and have a weak moment.

yeah I didn’t mention the other engines I have like the OS 90 rear cam engines and the 2- 3W 120 ‘s or the DLE, and the DJ engine’s. Along with a few 2 strokes I keep around when I want some real speed.
But Saito is still number one in my book. That is the primary engine in all my planes.

I don't see it as bragging more like letting us share the joy of a great Saito buy! This thread is all about celebrating Saitos and passing along knowledge of these engines. The more you post the better I like it even when we go off topic. There is a lot of camaraderie, respect for each other, and healthy dose of leg pulling. No one takes themselves too seriously. The one thing you can't call this thread is boring! A tip of my hat to all!

I like the video of him turning the prop by hand.

Did you see this one and the price on it?
