I think I would have kept the 235 6 cyl and been able to haul something! Those old Chevys were classy in their day. I remember riding in a borrowed 1964 model with my older brother when we moved from Dodge City, KS to Enid, OK back in 1964. Dad drove the U-Haul, and Mom the car.
my father had a stepside, short bad, I loved that old truck, but I'm sure it was old than a 64

Ok getting ready to put bearings in a 100, 80,and a 56.
so I ordered Boca bearing’s as you know. Cleaning the bunch of last night found that I have ordered them already along with gaskets. But for some reason I don’t have gasket’s for the 100 “strange”. I guess I will have to order those.

When I get the bearing for my 100 I will get the gaskets in the computer and see how they turn out on card stock. I have different weight card stock so can mic he gaskets and find out which works best. The gaskets on my 100 are in good shape still, so can be reused.
On another note, I mounted the YS 63 on the Liberty Sport, fits it perfectly, so now need to determine what prop to run. I has 12 x 6, 12 x 8, and 11 x 7 for it, all APC. Have to check ground clearance too, but think the 12 may fit. I just don't know which works best for this motor.

Look, guys! You are disrespecting the tip of a rather sensitive person. Pete already gave the solution, Playboy Magazine covers. Listen next time, or face the outcome.
Rumor has it flesh toned seal best.

More along the Club line, but once I got married, didn't have a need for them anymore. wink wink nudge nudge
OOOHHHH I think I may have just the right material though! I just remembered I have this massive heavy Vario catalog. I have been using it to secure sheeting on wings and fuse, and the paper is just the right stuff. The gloss is made by using clay, so they would make good gasket material.

Glossy magazine covers are 40lb to 60lb clay based paper coated with acrylic. Any glossy magazine cover will work if it measures .0080"- .010" in thickness. Doubtful it will survive disassembly and be reusable after very many engine run hours though. (.25mm) flexoid is the material used by aftermarket saito gasket makers. It's only available shipped from Europe afaik.

Been married 49 1/2 years. But we actually have known each other since 1953, when we were three years old. The Norwegian Princess claims it is like having a VCR with one tape.
I like Saito made gasket sets and buy new old stock sets when they show up on eBay. Hard to beat.
