I got those emails a while ago, I probably had them both by two mondays ago. Now they give you some sort of tracking, but It didnt work for me. Im going to look into it further, but I really want to run my car.

When you login to your account you should get a listing of your orders with the order ID and shipping number. Click on "View" to check that your shipping address is correct. You can always click on "Express Resolve" to contact them. The "Express Resolve" button only comes on when your order has been shipped.

Ok, I guess I was confused because the last email I got said the order was ready to process, but I never got another saying it shipped. When I go to the site the express resolve thing is there, so I supose it has shipped. When I try to click the tracking thing though it comes up with a dead end every time.

How about you contact them and ask specific details. When it was shipped, tracking number etc. The problem may be at the US mail service.

3 holes vs 1 hole is a big difference between front & rear. You may find oversteer (rear skids out). But only testing will tell.
My asphalt racer has 40 wt oil and two holes front & rear. My rally car has 40 wt oil and 3 holes, but I think I will reduce the oil viscosity, maybe 20 wt or so.

All this, BTW, is on the OEM Tamiya slicks. I have a pair of HPI racing radials with a decent tread pattern I'll switch to when the slicks burn up.

That's great. When you put on a set of HPI slicks you will notice a BIG difference. The standard Tamiya sliks are too hard and have relatively little grip. They are great for power slides though.

I'm not going to slicks again, I'm going to these: http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/4490/ They should compliment the front-end work nicely...
FWIW my prop man ran his RC-Whatever against me on our show deck tonight (think slick-painted Masonite surface), running a figure-8 course before the show... I took him in three laps. He jus couldn't keep traction.

Honestly it wont m8 i ran a 17 turn method on the standard esc for ages with no problems and a friend used a modded 15 turn too the tamiya 101 esc is solid built and cant run under the 23 turn limit no probs it even thermo shuts down if theres a heat problem,id stick around 17 turns and no lower tho for peace of mind

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Well like i said m8 i used a 17x2 for about 6months with no problems i ended up chucking the motor instead of replacing the brushes in the end lol so the ESC outlasted,my mate still runs a cheap 15 turn fireball and has for over 3months with no problems etc
The only thing i know is someone who ran a modded 13 turn and kept getting the thermo shutdown but no damage to the ESC.
If you stick around 17 turns regardless of the make be it cheap or expensive motor it copes fine with them

I saw the traxxas plug but it still has a tamiya adapter to plug your battery into correct. Tamiya battery plus are notorious for melting. I would get traxxas all around or deans.
