Mike, I hope you get better soon, I now, do remember you said you were sick.

my wife had Bronchitis 2 months ago, I had it a few years back. my Dr says the only way you get it is from a cold. I don't know but I now wash my hands more.

keep clean LOL

oop,
Mike, I remember when I had Bronchitis near the end I took very hot showers, ran the water on my lower neck and chest, that seemed to help a lot

Don't have any 10%. Thought I'd try them on 15%, 20% and 30%.

SHOOTOUT!!!

EDIT: Whoops, I meant to say I'd test the YS91 against the FA115, not the FA100. Testing it against an FA100 would be an exercise in futility. A veritable slaughter really.

The YS 91s will run closer to a 120 on 20% fuel.

I was typing my edit when you posted that Dave. And yes, you're correct. I'm fresh out of fa120's though and don't plan to buy one. Never say never though.

Figure 30 to 35% more power than a same size normally aspirated engine. The trick is getting a YS to run longer than you need in order to tach it. I have zero faith in them.

I've read a tremendous amount of info on YS tuning, theory of operation and troubleshooting so hopefully I can quickly diagnose and fix whatever happens. Having never owned one my confidence level is pretty low at the moment. We'll see.

One of the attractions to Saitos is the simplicty of a normally aspirated engine. The light weight doesn't hurt either. In fact, I suspect the fa115 will be very close to the ys 91 in the power to weight ratio dept.

The YS 63 I have, once I figured out the regulator, runs great. Was easier to get running than Pete's Nemesis. Someday I should take the 110 out and see if it runs. Have had it 8 years sitting on a shelf waiting for the plane to get finished.

remember, if a cat is in a box it can be dead and alive at the same time !!! physics has proven that.

My FZ-110. from the lack of buildup on the muffler, it appears to be a very low hour engine. It got a little gummed up from sitting, need to find a better oil that doesn't get sticky after a while, I used the stuff used to spray into engines that are stored for a while to prevent the cylinders from rusting. It coats them but apparently gets gummy after a bit. Some fresh fuel through it will get it all smooth again. The weight is 1 pound 11.8 ounces.

Drool!

I use Marvel Mystery Oil for air tools for storage. It never seems to gum up for me.

I agree with using the Air Tool Oil from MMO. I use it too, along with a bit of ATF with Dexron (Clarence Lee's formula). There are supposed to be driers in the Air Tool Oil that help prevent corrosion.

Just my $.02.

Lonnie, are those cam cover screws, counter sunk screws or just appear that way? Thanks, I hope it goes well for you. Let us know the power output..

Hi Wasp,

You almost have it right. mix MMO Air Tool Oil with the ATFD, not MMO and Air Tool Oil. Actually, any good air tool oil will work. :-) :-)
