Wonder if viewed from the side you can see the 1/4 inch deflection you can see with basically all mas props. Maybe they stiffened em up a bit.
But they are much prettier than the APC offerings lol

The fa62 and smaller engines are happy to run for many many years when propped for 10k on the ground so no danger there. Been there, still doing it today.
Tried a 12/7 Zoar and 12/6 APC.
Time for a 72 or 80.

A have a newly refreshed 72 with upgraded metal rear cover if you're interested. Runs flawless of course.

dear you say such awful things on the Saito forum.
I didn’t think that kind of language was allowed on Any forums. But I’m not a mediator so I probably shouldn’t say anything.

I wish Evolution still made props. Paired with the Fa-100, the 15 x 6, or was it an 8, flew the Cub beautifully. At just under half throttle it looked and sounded like a Cub, but open up up and it was like a rocket was strapped to the tail. You know it's bookin when the guy wires sing.

Upon closer inspection they are exactly the same other than the Logo. My bad, here a few 16 x 8's, except the old Classic, it's a 16 x 6. I had to bore a .5" hole in the new Classic for the Tru-Turn adapter. once again I used the K&S tubing scraps to sleeve down to the pilot on the .5" drill.

That's good that they kept the profile the same, diehard MA fans will appreciate that. I was hoping they changed the composition of the material to make them a little stiffer though. The K-Series does feel stiffer to me but I haven't run it yet.

I like them because they turn smoothly and quietly.

Probably the glue. You're supposed to put it on the airframe, not in a paper sack.

Thanks Lonnie!
Probably pull one of the two fresh ones off the shelf. Or the one i have on the cub that i normally fly the flat twin on. i have the twin down for bearings, but they are here to install.
Strongly considering offing everything lesser than a midsize crankcase soon. Wasting too much time on 40 series planes. Cant see the small planes anymore anyway.
Haha! I replaced a high time O.S. 91 on my Hog Floatie with a fresh FA 100. Now that one is having a hard time getting off the water too. Used to do victory rolls right after leaving the water, now a stall could be its downfall (literally lol)
But that will raise a few eyebrows on Club Saito.......

Eyebrows raised.

An FA100 will kick the pants off an FS91. What prop do you have on the 100?

Prop? That explains why it doesn't get off the water...

15x8? Good prop for an fa125 or fg21. Your fa100 would be happier with a 15x6 or 14x8. Just say'n.

FA100
15% nitro, apc props, f plug

15x8, 8200, 9.91 thrust, 1.667 hp
16x6, 8500, 13.45 thrust, 1.739 hp
14x8, 9250, 9.35 thrust, 1.751 hp
15x6, 9400, 12.71 thrust, 1.816 hp.

So you can see, by swapping out the 15x8 for a 15x6 you will gain almost 3 lbs of thrust, put your engine in a better rpm band for fuel economy and snappier throttle response as well as help it to run cooler.

More thrust it always good for high drag float planes and by increasing thrust you may find the plane flies faster with the 15x6 than the 15x8.

Hillbillies unite!

Went out and looked at my Cub. 15 x 6 Evolution gas prop. Really impressed by it's power.

I think I'm going to be sick.

Funny, the little 60T sells for more than any other Saito Twin.

I still am 5 years later. $300 was my entire budget, but never found what I was looking for that day.

hey, I remember that one, I too wanted it, but as I remember the seller had a very low trade rating so I wouldn't go for it.
