I was just messing around with my silver can motor and i put it in a glas of water and rand it (surprisingly doesnt kill it) and it cleans out the motor really well. It also boosts the Rpm's and maybe adds more power, im not sure. I wouldnt try this with a good motor but if you want go for it. it works.

That trick works with any brushed motor. I do it eveytime after im done running my traxxas slash in the mud. I used to do it with my TT01 after evey 4-5 packs...that was untill i went brushless.

Check the wheel hex isnt damaged ive tightened the wheel nuts up when the hex wasnt in place and clamped them before lol []

Just had to post about a great deal I just got. $80 shipped for 4 TT-01 rolling chassis with one missing maybe $10 in parts (which I already have), 3 with motors.

Alright guys so I'm pretty sure that I'm ready to go brushless

The only problem is I have no idea about anything when it comes to them.

I want to save some money up to get a brushless esc that can be used with brushed engines as well... so first I can save up for the esc, and just plug that in and continue driving with my brushed engine.

Can you guys help me out? Which esc and motor should I get? Any tips and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Im useing a "Hobbywing ESC/Motor" from ebay i payed like $70.00US shipped and its more then enough speed/torque for my TT01. Works with brushed/brusless, Nimh/lipos, comes with a fan and is really small.
