Lonnie, do you still bang the drums ? my friends had a good band up here in the 80s, called "Last Wish" it really was a good band. I ran their Board, it was a Carvin 24 channel. the lead guitarist was here today to help me work on my house. to add, back in the 80s I had a Less Paul and a Carvin X amp 100, guess what my son's name is, well it's not Less and not Paul. the wife loves that name so that's what she named him. no X thO. I gave up the guitar, I would get shooting pain from my finger tips to my elbow in my strumming arm.
here is my friend's channel, the first time he heard "Fish" he changed his style. he started playing in 71. I can't get him to get into planes.

Jim.
Probably shouldn't consider a hobby with rotating blades.

Tore down my newly acquired fa120 fathead today. It was sold as is and looked like a very low time engine, even with only two pics in the ad. I figured, what the heck, the price is right. I finally caught a break on buying used engines because this fathead couldn't have had more than two tank fulls of fuel run through it. Might turn out to be a really nice looking collector's piece.
New bearings on the way. I'll post pics when it's reassembled.![Stick Out Tongue](images/smilies/tongue.gif)

Jim you ratbag, a few posts ago you said you had given up on them smelly two strokes, specially the o0ne's attached to heli's. My daddy said leopards never change their spots ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Lonnie when i first unwrapped my new fa220 zues i was struck by the level of finish on the engine. Koala poo loads of compression. Once i had it bolted down securely (because an fa115 had escaped previously) i primed it for the first time and hooked up the glow stick. Jeezuz jiminy those things bark at you.

I see you have the Eldon J. Lind Magnetic Building Board, on mine the plastic is aged and breaking. I've been slowly making aluminum uprights for some of the vertical stands. The board is two .125" x 24' x 8' steel sheets laminated together. I couldn't remove the original board from the work bench in Alexandria. I used contact cement to glue it down, it either bent or tore chunks out of the wood when trying to pry it up.
I take it that the 80-t has a rear vane pump.

Is that a checked system? Where are the inlet and outlet nipples?
