I us Corrosion X in a the pump bottle, I drilled the spray nozzle out to .125", then inserted .125" K&S brass tubing with Red Loctite, it has never come out. The pump is nice for pumping it into engines. The back plate is new, the crankcase is a nice one I got from Gary, I put most of your engines components in it save for the bearings and gaskets, they are new.

Gary, nice Timex, the band turned out very nice. Back before carrying around cell phones I tried to find one of those spring style bracelet bands, no luck either. These days I never wear a watch or wedding band and have no piercings or tatts.
Wow, it's Rascal heaven around here! Some nice looking ones too. How aerobatic are they?
Dave, when I said "high cam box" on the 72B I was talking about the "B" case design, not referring to the "High Cam Series" Saito camgears.
Back to the test stand now to run up another "unmentionable". At least it's a four stroke.

The High Cam term would never occur to me since it's in exactly the same place as the old crankcase. Have fun with the unmentionable, I don't have any more of them except two strokes.
Are you back home yet? How are things going with the family?
Ok
I am a little slow on the thank you’s but
i sure do thank the hec out of a couple guys on this group.
A while back Dave sent me a gem of a 130t. It is Beautiful I really appreciate It.
today I received a Saito 30 open rocker from Gary.
how awesome is that. Now I believe I have all the single cylinder 4 stock glow engine’s that Saito has made.
I would also like to thank everyone for the collective knowledge that is given away so freely. I hope I can continue to learn and pass on for years to come.

aa shucks, you didn't have to go and say that. now I have to tell you a trick, read on my thankful Saito Freak Friend (SFF) >>
OK, this is a trick for the 4st engine that just happens to be disassembled, it will help improve exhaust flow. it's a simple trick. read on>
you simply file off the outer sharp edge on the bottom of the Exhaust Valve. a simple way is to slip some fuel tubing over the valve's Stem and mount the stem in an E Drill, BUT of course do not tighten the drill's chuck much at all, just enough so you can rotate the valve slowly and file off the bottom's sharp edge, but remember, you just want to round that edge to increase the exhaust flow around that edge easily.
it don't work on the Intake Valve!!!
but there is a trick you can do to the Intake valve. just above the Seating area on the valve there is a bump that can be removed also, with a file. be careful, you do not want to damaged that Seat on the valve..
and one thing that is most important, do not ever, never, never, ever,,, tell the OS guys about these tricks, because if you do, the trick wont work and the OS guys wont be scratching there heads wondering why your Saito is so much more powerful than their OS
later you SFF
Jim

Gary as we are prone to say over here in aussie "that's pretty speccy" re the watchstrap. Over the last few decades we serious tradesmen seem to be a dying breed in the face of mass 3d printing etc.
Dave you may remember years ago i was always asking whether saito will ever make some large ( at least 200cc ) inline engines for big scale warbirds, well i've just about given up waiting and am thinking about an alternative using the new nikasil bore coated (almost a square stroke) and lighter kolm IL230 triple in a large voodoo mustang with data logging for individual cylinder temps re inflight tuning (ground adjustment) etc. The IL230 weighs 18 pounds in the long version with starter motor and can be had from the factory in clockwise or counter clockwise prop direction. 50:1 gas mix.
ps most serious scale warbird pilots would be familiar with the you tube vid of the earlier and heavier IL200 kolm powered "galloping ghost" P51, it almost sounds a good as a ducati.
Some serious woop ass

Thanks Lonniie, yes I'm back home, I drove back Saturday, 7.5 hours, I drove it non stop. My daughter is hanging tough, her other four children are also.
I received a nice little package yesterday from Gary, three 120 and up sized mufflers, one is missing an end cap, I'll make one for it.
Jim, some of the Saito valve stems have pinched waists for better flow.

Pete, I think that engine out weights most of my airplanes if not all!
I had a little accident last night. My PFT and Echo left me completely wiped out yesterday. A friend emailed wanting tp know how short I was on covering and I needed to measure tail surfaces. I took out the fuselage and laid it to side, got dizzy and fell back into a chair clipping the vertical fin breaking it in 4 pieces. Luckily 3 pieces broke at the CA joint so I only need to replace one piece. If they don't put me in for surgery Friday I plan on repairing the tail and doing some more covering if I can summon enough energy. I'm driving Rusty my Lab/Pit Terrier nuts because I can't chase her. She is only 2 and still loves to play.
Here is a picture of Rusty my building supervisor hard at work.

I went in knowing I was a candidate for either stents or a bypass. The tech can't saying anything but it wasn't bad enough they had to do anything immediately but I got the feeling she did see something. I will know for sure Friday when I have my follow up visit to my Internist. I have 3 good doctors working together, all Med school professors. The Cardiologist has been training specialists for almost 30 years. Sometimes I don't think she ever leaves the hospital and I'm not sure she even sleeps. She took real good care of my wife and got her out of AFIB.

Thank you! The Good Lord has taken pretty good care of me over the years and I'm sure he hasn't forgot me. Whatever happens it will be His will not mine. My time is his time not my own. He won't take me one second earlier than he wants me and he won't test me more than i can handle..

Amen to that.
Mike, I'm sending two rear facing vents and three velocity stacks and maybe enough O-rings to seal them fairly well. Both face to the rear on the 82-B. I should be splitting wood but it's raining.

A side exhaust Fathead as shown in Clarence Lee's review? Aside from that review and this engine all the ones I've seen have been rear exhaust. Excellent engine for cowled installed.
